weslangdon
who are the best people to modify these engines for more power and are the claims of 100/105 bhp realistic, what are the losses in fuel consumption, finally given the already tremendous torque of the unmodified engine is it a wise move to fit a rear disc axle
Dblock
Black smoke remap. I doubt your getting 100bhp but it's much much faster. Your fuel consumption will decrease so long as your driving stays the same due to it being more efficient. Just because it's remapped doesn't mean you HAVE to fly everywhere fast as possible. If your driving to the same speed limit your brakes will be fine. Plus the rear does very very little braking if you want to upgrade throw some 280mm on the front.
Skezza
Agreed. Try and drive just below the turbo kicks in. You'll get awesome fuel economy.
weslangdon
thanks, I've emailed them, re the brakes my Arosa Sport with rear discs in noticeably better than any rear drum Arosa or Lupo that I've ever driven, if I go the 280 route will I need different hub carriers and calipers possibly 15 inch rims too? Dblock
Strange I have had an arosa sport. The brakes didn't feel too different. Remember how little they actually brake IMO. Yes calipers carriers and 15s.
