T3LLIOTT
I've recently fitted an OMP steering wheel to replace my standard one and the airbag light has obviously appeared! The wheel came with a 2ohms resistor which I fitted to the airbag leads, but for some reason this hasn't got rid of the light on the dash.Am I doing something wrong or have I got the wrong resistor?I know this topic has been covered a few times before, but having read most of them, they haven't given me a definitive answer.Any help would be much appreciated! Mark230
Did you disconnect the battery before replacing the steering wheel? The light will stay on until the fault code has been cleared, even with the resistor fitted
lupogtiboy
You may also fail your MOT as the airbag needs to be present and fitted on the vehicle at the time of the test, unless you have a friendly MOT man.....

Looks like I'll have to swap back for MOT time, or give it my friendly tester I also found this that should help, especially with my horn constantly going off to the point where I've had to remove the fuse! http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?/topic/60350-fitting-boss-kit-for-lupo/ Edited March 12, 2015 by T3LLIOTT
