I'm sure I've seen this somewhere, but does anyone know if there is a kit available to convert from HT-leads to individual coil packs on the GTI? I'm 99% sure I've seen this done, but I can't for the life of me remember where or by who! Thanks

Bit of an odd one here.. AUC 54’ plate 1.0 MPI Arosa 124,xxx miles Its recently become really hesitant when setting off or putting your foot down. It’ll hesitate for a few seconds then pick up. Sometimes it’ll also just rev itself between 500-1000RPM. It also shakes sometimes at about 500rpms From what I’ve read on here most people say it’s either the HT LEADS, COIL PACK, or SPARK PLUGS. Plugs were done about 20k ago and gapped correctly. I am planning to change these soon and see if it changes anything. My main concern though is that there isn’t an EML on the dash when the car does this?? Does this mean it’s not likely to be missfiring and it’s not those parts causing the issue Anyone able to help? thanks

Hi all, the ignition switch has gone on me Lupo. Just a few questions I need answered: Is it a hard job? Do I need to remove the steering wheel? And finally if I do need to remove the steering wheel, do I need a puller to remove steering wheel spline? Cheers all

Hello all can someone please help me out!!! I've done the 1.6 gti conversion in my lupo. I've got all the engine loom and in car loom all plugged in together. The car turns over but stater motor still turns the engine over when the ignition is on. Have to turn he ignition off for it to stop.. any ideas please? The car us also not getting any spark? Could I of knocked something when doing the conversion?? Also I don't know which plugs t relays go into. Any help would be most grateful guys please help thanks all

engine turning over, but not starting. it turns over as if to start, but then fail. about a week ago i was driving n the car went dead for less than a second, like some power went out. it took me to work couple days after that then now not starting. any suggestions hope i`m clear on the prob. Jus check n the EPC light is on, oh darn something electrical for sure huh lupie don't die on me. i did sum checkin around n i`m wondering if the compartment is flooded wit gas. i lent a friend the car yesterday n every time she started it she pressed the gas i had to tell her thats not needed. i`m wondering if this is a result from her actions.
