yeah, ive just looked at my online banking and ive hit £174 for 2 weeks of petrol, and i pay £160 a month insurace :/
-
ive just calculated my monthly bill on average of running my car..... its costing me over £500 per month just to run (insurnce & petrol) now i get it fairly easy compared to some, as ive seen lads get quotes of £3000 for a 1.0!!! you'd struggle to overtake a Flymo for god sake! now i want to know if ieveryones in the same boat, i know were enthusiasts and thats why we work our arses off just to ba able to drive a nice car but surely £500 a month is steep, its 6k a year..... mods arnet even included in that, and ive spent near a £1000 on mods since buying it in july, makes you think why we do it, but when you drive another car you realise how addictive they are

pass plus does **** all these days, they only recognize IAM - institute of advanced motorists, only costs £75 if your under 25 and gives significant discounts, you just drive about with traffic cops and then do a test at the end when they feel your ready.

ive spent about £500 to get 10BHP which seems alot, but thats assuming i hadnt lost any BHP from standard. Although the £500 will be well spent when combined with future mods

if its anything like the manual Sport.... you need a 16mm spanner... place spanner onto tensioner, push spanner down to release tension....then remove belt. Disconnect Battery, if you want, i cant remember if i did. remove elctrical connections,13mm or 10mm and terminal plug, remove engine cover for easy removal. undo top bolt. unto bottom bolt ( both 13mm im sure, note...the bottom bolt will be easier to undo with a large extension on a socket and removed from the driver side arch)
