of course there is a syncro it is from 1st and 2nd? . and i have the same problem with my gti atm you literally have to push it into gear, and the vw garage said it is most probaly the syncro. tarrier.

cheers guys, mine is currently at vw there looking to see if it is the gearbox i think straight from vw a 6 speed gearbox is looking like 2-3k its pricey lol but depending on how bad it is i can maybe just recon the first 2 gears 500 is better then 3000 tarrier

i just broke down down on slip road to m25 i have 2 questions the first question is does any1 ever find that their 1st gear pops out sometimes? which is what happened to me and now i got my car stuck in first gear... my second question is has any1 reconditioned their box or bought a new one just wondering on prices for a 6 speed? thanks for any help tarrier

is there any way i can get into my engine if the bonnet catch is stuck. without smashing up my grill or is there a way i can get the grill out? any help would be appreciated tarrier.

im 17 i pay 1k a year on my gti it is a good first car no-one wants a 1.0 as there first car? 2500 isnt that bad for a 1.6 gti my friend payed that for just a 1.4 golf i cant help thinking a few people are annoyed that youngens are driving the same car as them and so think it is a bad first car. tarrier

lol hes 18 so most 18 year olds dont have anything much above a 1.6 and other then an ek9 near me i beat everything on the road 106gti saxo vts i dont agree at all.

why not just save up and buy some good wheels , your only going to get sick of everyone else having the same wheels as you tarrier.

it was thrashed most probaly if it needs a a reconditioned gearbox? seems little dodgy to me maybe do hpi check?
