I used to have a lupo that did the same thing as your , a silver 1.4 petrol never did get to the bottom of why it did it though

Lol thanks skezza, ive done it before but the flip key on the rclick kit doesnt last very long so want to do it proper this time

Its cool skezza think ive got it , plus the new ones by rclick retrofit to standard vw remotes as theyre the same size circuit boards.

But if theyre on the same frequency why wont it work?

Fitting a rclick rcl kit to a lupo 1.4tdi which already has central locking, just want to know if you can use a genuine vw remote with rclick kit. I have emailed them and opened a support ticket on their site but no reply. I know they have a kit that works on i think 433.92 mhz and i know the standard vw genuine flip remotes work on 434mhz. The rclick kits have learning mode. So will it work? Ive searched and searched and searched some more but cant find the answer. I have had rclick stuff before and the remotes are not the best quality so if i could use the genuine vw remote that would be cool. Anyone?

Just thought i would say hello, been on the forum for a long time but last june someone drove into the side of my lupo writing it off. Its back on the road now as the salvage repaired and sold it as far as i know, prob down in birmingham. Well im saying hello again as im back with a new lupo. Had a new fiesta after the crash but missed the lupo so much just had to buy another one.

ive got a silver lupo 1.4 dont live in sunderland but pass through now n again.

Sounds like an ecu issue , if not its more likely to be sensors and lambda stuff , failing that if timing belt has been done recently could be 1 tooth out of line. Just an idea.

they just kind of clip in nothing special about it really unless you have snapped a piece off.

well after sorting out my oil leak on the gearbox i would say that the fact that there is no undertray adds to these leaks starting and getting worse as the gear selector rod is very close to the road to all the bits on the road flying up to the selector will get dragged to the seal everytime you change gear, maybe they should have put some sort of boot over the selector and seal to protect it at bit more. so i would say that it was important to have a tray on .

well ive got a 1.4 standard lupo and just surprised it hasnt got one as I would think majority of cars would have them as standard and the price of them is probably virtually nothing when then make the car.

ive always thought it was to protect the engine especially the sump low or not due to things flying up from the road hitting bits of the engine and damaging things and also aerodynamics but more for protection which is why i thought i would ask.
