  1. oops silly you. you should of taken the induction kit off before claiming anything on warranty to do with engine problems. if you have reported the faults and they have the car before the waranty ran out they still have to fix it but they could say that your air filter caused the problems.
  2. fupin #### they took the fupin swear words out! as i said before i'm about 5 miles from Alton Towers so if you need hotel reccomendations etc talk to me MSN is alexfernihough@hotmail.com i might be going but can't promise anything yet might just meet up with you all in Uttoxeter afterwars if you decide to have a small meet there!
  3. yay i cant fookin wait! Me loads of modded vw's, My Lupo, a tent and the musses perfect weekend!
  4. yep it was me. i had the clublupo stickers i made at work on the window so it shows they work! it'll be even more different soon just you guys wait n see! the day it's out of the bodyshop the pics will be on here!
  5. QUOTE(gargoil)Change of plan, turns out my local Powerflow place has stopped using powerflow parts as they were so bad quality.not being big headed or anything but havn't i been saying this all the time but none of you listened
  6. how about a club lupo meet in stafford just down the road from me also very close to Alton Towers! p.s. if anyone's goin through Uttoxeter ever let me know in advance on here i'll stop n say hello if i'm not at work
  7. oh and the bass eq +6db and +12db is a simple bass enhancer you can turn this up depending how you like u'r bass but without upgrading the standard speakers i think the sub would overpower everything if switched to anything other than 0
  8. he said dont ask but i need to ask! i could really do with having mine on a stand as i'm spending a small fortune on mine before GTI inter!
  9. Lupo Lupo is right turn the hard unit up to the loudest point you are ever going to have it. then turn the amp up till it's just about to distort or overpower the other speakers and nock it back a little. The Frequency is depending on what kind of music you are going to listen to dance music is a higher frequency something like 80 to 120hz whereas R&B type music with low base notes can be as low as 40hz just set it up till it sounds good with the music you listen to. but be warned anything higer than 120hz is going to damage subs as it's getting into vocal range and they are not designed to take that and will burn out.
  10. hmm u changed the pads urself i bet! you havn't installed the rear pads properly they need removing and a bit of copper grease puttin in all the places it should go because they're got stuck on.
  11. it's the same debate again and i'll give you the same answer.... Scorpion without fail everytime scorpion use the highest quality Stainless Steel whereas powerflow cut costs by using very low grade stainless steel that still rusts but will not be replaced as it hasn't malfunctioned. Scorpion does not catch rub nock or blow unlike most powerflow efforts. much better build quality with a scorpion and only costs about £80 - £100 extra.
  12. i'm leaving it all to the bodyshop to sort out the rear boot opened from what i have ssen it's dead easy you just replace the motion created by pulling the handle with a solenoid. at the moment i'm thinking of putting the open button behind the grommett that i have used to replace the rear wiper. i'm also wiring up a battery jack socket under the car so that if the battery fails i can still charge it up without lifting the bonnet
  13. well if it wasn't for all the work i'm having done then i wouldnt attend but i've got to show off what i've had done. yeah i figured out what i've got to do i've just got to get some adapters from 4x100 to 5x130 H&R do them but i'm trying to find a supplier for the part in the uk. I tried dubsport but the monkey on the end of the phone didn't have a clue what i was on about so i asked him to find me a price for the parts and i still havn't had a reply. Oh why does the word new always appear in red too?
  14. the badge has to come off to complete the whole look of the car, no point sommthing everything off including the rear numberplate recess and rear door handle and leaving the vw badge.
  15. I saw a lupo that had been attempted to be modified pretty poorly last night it didnt have a vw badge at the back. if there is an indent behind it it seemed a lot of work concidering what else had been done. if there is no indent i'll remove the badge now but if there is i'll leave it to the bodyshop to do when it has everything else done
  16. Have we actually got a stand as i was talking to someone on here saying i'll go on it with my modded lupo. here's what the spec will be for then. totally smoothed off as in the pics you have already seen. lamborgini doors that lift up (provisional) new wheels not BBS RC but Porsche cup 3's!
  17. i stand corrected i got vvti mixed up with ctec tuning lol u can chip a vtec engine and lower the point where it switches to performance mode, thought u might be able to do a similar thing with vvti but i wass wrong. but still a proper chip does a lot more than just fooling the ecu into thinking it is getting colder air into the engine liek these cheap things of ebay!
  18. really you liek the yellow next to the zenons? think yu can pick up a set of LED sidelights now for £5 they do look miles better than std. i've got them in mine so i'll show you at GTI international if you are there.
  19. i think it's bull s**t tbh how can you chip an ecu thats full of glue with a solder in chip? maybe a piggy back chip that is very low tech and just adjusts the signals sent from the engine air tem sensor. wich is very amature chipping compared to how many different things a superchip does such as altering the vvt and keeping the valves open for longer etc.
  20. if it's a GTI it's a standard sidelight bulb. i've replaced mine with led sidelights to give them a white light rather than the yellow light you get out of a standard bulb, It looks much better next to the xenons than standard i dont know about the other lights tho u'll have to dismantle it and find out for yourself. Oh and dont listen to VW who said you have to take it there to have the bulbs changed because they say you have to take loads of stuff out to change them, you dont have to al you need is small hands!
  21. bit too late now but thanx anyway. u'll all have to wait and see what i've bought.
  22. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws....y=40187 aparently if you highlight the text so that the black text appears on the black background the figures for the lupo GTI are as follows 125ps std. 142ps with this chip?
  23. yep speaking ot the bodyshop bloke today about doing the bonnet eyebrows. he says dont go to a backstreet bodyshop because all they'll do is fiberglass an eyebrow and bond it on wich wont work what they are doing to do on mine is aluminium weld a fabricated extension to the bonnet and use special filler for aluminium. so guys GTI International mine'll be there with loads of work done similar to all those but in my own style. oh mine will have more done than every single one of those. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
