  1. no not at all. had to cut a bit off the bottom of the upright part bend the main side parts in and also re-shape the bits where it bolted to the seat belt mount. also the black plastic around the b pillar needed to be cut so the cage went in behind it.
  2. definatly real wheels mate there's reflectors set up out of shot to gain extra light on certain areas of the car such as the wheels
  3. just though i'd post this on behalf of kelly (the girl who's selling my old lupo) no longer has the seats or cage fitted so standard interior everything else still there advert is here. http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/295165.htm
  4. dont know what it's worth tbh i sold it with the seats, stereo (including double din screen) for 9k cant tell whats been taken out but i wouldnt pay any more than 6k for it, (got to save somemoney for the 1.8t hehe
  5. lol i did drive a bmw mini yes but it had 18" kahns. blew it up 3 times before selling it 250 bhp out of a 1.6 didnt work now driving a clio 182 trophy but my old gti is back up for sale. hmm tempted!
  6. hello strangers. first off here's my car for sale lol http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/295165.htm also the cage was infact a saxo show cage and was bolted to the seatbelt mounts, granted probably not the safest in the world but ah well it never killed me!
  7. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not pink border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" />
  8. i keep thinking i want that car back but i know i'd be bored of the lack of speed got my cooper s set at 250 bhp now but no 1 wants to race me as it sounds like a monster!
  9. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> should still have the number plate V111 UPO (spaced to say VW LUPO) if you ever speak to the new owner tell him to get in touch.
  10. thats my old car the plate would be v11 1upo
  11. i used ot have a lupo as u'll all know. the cooper s isnt much quicker until the 50mph mark then it'll thrash a lupo gti this is mainly due to the lupo weighting about as much as a tin of beans! my cooper s is running 235bhp now and is so much fun although i do miss the lupo would of been nice to have that much power in her!
  12. it's actually just a wide angle lense but turned to the highest setingand up really close to the car. was just playing with different effects. the arches are the factory ones smoothed down and painted.
  13. 18" Kahn RSV's didnt go for the engine upgrade costs too much for the bhp gain. the white rear lights are better than the standard red ones or the max power style torpedo ones. still miss the lupo wonder where it is nowadays
  14. After getting the lupo featured in redline and pvw... border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> i sold it and got this.... border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" />

  16. I still miss that car but it wasn't practical for everyday use. they were mille miglia reps 17's I sold it for 9k with a double din kenwood dvd player. rockford fosgate amps x2 rockford 12" sub rockford components in the front 4x buckets also had the rear lights tinted silver slightly. cant see if he has removed the ice or not
  17. Hi I've been told that my old GTI was at E38 for sale is this true? anyone know why he is selling it and has he done anything to it since I sold it? also I've been told it was also at trax on the sunday without the porsche wheels on it and it did the 0-60 thingy. does anyone know what it did etc. thanks I've also been told clifford has finally completed his turbo conversion whats it go like guys?
  18. it could of been my gti too. a word or warning with these posrche adaptors this is very very important especailly when you eventually need to remove the adaptors off the hub to change disks. some adaptors use what is known as a castle bolt which is an allen tighten bolt with a square view from the side (hard to explain.) these sit tight against the holes in the adaptor after about 6 months they can sieze into the adaptors making them impossible to remove ( I had this problem and needed ot use £40 drill bits to drill them out) you need to go for the type of adaptor (often found on ebay) which has a tapered bolt (when viewed from the side) the edge of these bolts do not fit flush with the edge of the adaptor instead the tapered part pulls the adaptor on tight.

cooper s hyper blue, white roof, 17's full blue black leather interior, air con, taction controll xenons (i had to have them after the lupo) darkened glass plus a few more options. going to tune it to 230bhp in a few months. i reall ymiss the looks i got in the lupo but it would take me 30 mins to get to work when the mini will do it in 10
  20. it was mine i built it as it is now, it was sold to someone near Mk recently.

i'd hope so aswel that rear bumper is hand made not just the old one filled. did it go down the 1/4 mile? if so i'd be interested to know what it did it in!

yeah it wasn't me! all sold now still waiting for my cooper s though
  23. I was thinking the bin no serious stero system has 6x9s go for some good front speakers and amp them up use standard rear speakers or fit some where they should go (if you don't have a gti) and run them off the hed unit. also leave front tweeters wired into the headunit for a bit of frnt fill. then a decent 10 or 12"sub in the boot. also the best way to improove sound is to use sound deadening. places to do are as follows.... spray / expanding deadening in all of the boot door keep it away from the lock mechanism. also use foam deadeing between the boot flor and the part where the boot shuts. then se dynamat sheets on the boot floor and wheel well. dynamat sheet the rear 1/4s these make a big difference if using rear speakers. do all of front doors. if you want to go to extremes do the floor especialy under the rear seats. this is mainly it.
  24. Does anyone know what resistor i should put in place of the coil spring that goes dehind the steering wheel. I managed to rip it when putting in my new steering wheel. the airbag light didnt come on when i bridged the gap with a fuse where the airbag used to go. now the coil thingy is gone i have put the fuse under the steering column on the plug that is there but without the coil i guess the resistance is different so makes the light come on. Anyone got a spare coil thing or know what value resistor i should wire in?? I spoke to my steeler and they want over £100 style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":surprise:" border="0" alt="surprise.gif" /> for a new one so thats not an option.
