  1. I use a blue Ambi-Pur one from Tesco, smells lovely and lasts for ages. Its meant to be refillable but the refills are more expensive than the actual freshener so I just replace the whole thing. I'm gonna buy those California Scents purely for the packaging
  2. Sounds like mine. Mint condition, 47k and only £1500. Even threw in some alloys. I'd searched for ages on autotrader etc, then found it being sold privately from a tiny garage half an hour away. Before that I got messed around loads and had my heart set on one which turned out to be 2 stolen ones stuck together. So don't lose hope
  3. They're from the same place as me, I've seen it around. Don't know who owns it though.
  4. I like Sundowner. I suggested it for my mates band but got ignored. Haha.
  5. Haha, me likey. I must be getting old, my first thought was "Ooh, imagine the tidying up afterwards"
  6. This country has gone to the dogs, nothing is safe anymore. When I was growing up it never would have even crossed my mind to start smashing up someones car, and there's all this stuff in the papers about school kids carrying knives and 10 yr olds trying to burn puppies alive I've been quite lucky in that nothing like that has ever happened to me, my old car had a wing-mirror stolen and the half the number plate ripped off, which is just pointless stupidity. I feel for you, like everyone's said just try and keep calm, I hope you manage to sort it soon and that they get punished for it.
  7. These pics are beautiful I've never been to Newquay but I really wanna go. I've been to the Lake District and loved Keswick. AND I've been to Malta, and stopped off in Gozo and went to the Blue Lagoon. Right, I'm definitely a holiday stalker
  8. I know, I don't know whats sadder - the fact that she has to hire a best friend, or the fact that people want their job to be her best friend! Still, I found it strangely compelling....

    Snow

We've not even had one flake I'm seriously beginning to doubt North Wales will ever have snow again, we've not had a proper snowfall since the beginning of 2006. Meh.
  16. That coat he was wearing was short-lived, he was more than happy to mess around with it on in the house, but the minute we went outside, some dogs passed us and I could tell they were laughing at him too. So Archie slunk off huffily and refused to go to the toilet wearing it, so I took it back the next day. He's a big baby. On the subject of dog coats/clothes - whats people's general opinion? Archie's now got a plain black waterproof one with sheepskin lining, which he actually loves. When its time for walkies, he goes over and nudges the coat towards me with his nose, then sits up straight so I can put it on him properly. Some clothes look silly, but I think that in this weather its a good thing for them to have some extra warmth and to keep dry.

So do I but we didnt Wales seems to be one of the only areas that had none...again. Bah!
  18. Sounds about right. My GP was shocked that I hadnt been given an x-ray, that would have been the obvious thing to do....
  19. I tore some ligaments in my left foot in summer 2007, the dr in casualty felt my foot and gave me crutches. I self-certified for a week as the dr said I couldn't have a note as a torn ligament was painful but not particularly bad, so my foot didnt have long to recover as I had to force myself off crutches within a few days as I couldnt work on them. So ever since then I've had pain in my foot periodically which I just put down to not letting it heal for long enough. Its been killing me all week so I made an appointment with my GP this morning, who took one look at it and referred me for an x-ray as the bone seems to have splintered, well from what he can see at the moment anyway. Apparently the casualty doctor should have given me an x-ray at the time because it was obviously more serious than torn ligaments. Gutted.
  20. Turns out I've been walking on a foot with a splintered bone for nearly 2 years....

I though South Wales would be quite bad, up here in the North we've barely even had a flurry. Typical!
