  4. When i disconnected my batt on my sport, my windows stopped having the "auto" feature but to fix it put the key in the drivers door unlock the car and hold it unlock postion the window should roll down do the same when you lock it and it should have the "auto" feature again
  5. just had a look on Vag cat, they dont list any thing for the rear bumper although they list the front 3L bumper, the plot thickens, also might have to speak a german feller at work on monday see what he says

  7. After Fitting my coilovers i decided best to get it tracked up properly as its rather important lol so of to midland vw in cannock 2moz to get them to sort it out will try get a few pics or something while im there should be a good run with the cruise control on HEHE

  9. on my mates pioneer i think he put to +12v but better check on yours whether its a + or a neg feed

Just thought id add my little bit, i got some swirls in my paint work so decieded to try P3000 and wet sand a little area then use fast cut and the finish compound and the area i did come up better then new! so im goin to do the entire car once i get time and it will make it POP with colour i hope also you can not bit a machine polisher hehe

If my tdi block wasnt alloy then yes i would add it, but i dont want to add to a alloy block as there not the strongest but the nature of the diesel engine is VERY good design for NOS when installing on the diesel you only have to squirt N2O in and not worry about the fuel, also you can squirt alot more in as the engines run on compression so can handle a little more N2o with out probs. it ran 15.8 at the pod without NOS havent been down with the nos yet also ive been at donnington with it as well CLICK >>>>>>>>
  12. i took my feed from my indicator stalk feed i think it was a brown/blue wire on the right side near the ignition barrel then i run an inline fuse down to the fuse board (easy access) and put a 5amp fuse in to be safe will take some pics tomoz after i fit my coilovers, and put all the stuff back together Thanks again everyone jon now you can ask about a "how To" just make sure you mention all names that helped please
  13. hehe also eveyone who has N20 refers to it as NOS trust me ive been to a few Wizard of "N2O" meets. See doesnt have the same effect as W.O.NOS but any how WON systems are better, period! Also i running 70bhp jets with a ratio of 2-1 so should be about 55bhp as i dont wnat to run it lean as you can damage your engine RICH is better much better and safer. I have an 4 Sec build up time start power at 25% then final power at 100% and it feels like a massive shove in the back pushing you forward! Would highly recommend it but progressive is defo better as you can run alot more power "safely" and everything depends on your setup will get some pics up later of my install and stuff anyhow will sort some better pics out 2moz of out now bye
  14. Right Added the +12v to the black wire on the loom and its fully functioning accelerates and turn of when you press the clutch or brake so it works !!!!!! Thanks to everyone again just finished wiring up like 10mins ago now to got to put all of it back together lol but yeah it DEFO works now people can get theres on without any problems thanks guys
  15. personally stay away from american stuff stick to Wizard of Nos stuff! defo give best results and will be healthier for your engine as delivers the NOS better

I installed NOS on my MK2 golf, i did the direct port injection so i can run 150bhp. it would be best to speak to Trev from WON as he know everything!!! to do with NOS theres so many different factors that can effect how NOS is run best to describe what you want it do then we can go from there mate.
  17. yeah maybe number 4 has to be connected to a 12v feed, as my friend mentioned when he used to retro fit the kits he had to splice into one of the wires so maybe if we splice into this wire and put +12v it will give the stalk its feed but will also send +12v to the ecu all the time, would this be ok? i emailed Ross-Tech to see if they could help but they only offer tech support to there "customers" so will get my mate at Volks to ask the question for me unless you or i solve before hand
  18. it sucks, ive noticed on other retro fit kits that theres 5 wires instead of 4 the 5th wire is connected to the brake switch for the live feed for the stalk so ive emailed a couple of people to see if i can "add" this wire to the kit thats installed, this is the prob when no one else has done you get these potentional exspensive problems lol trying to find out why the stalk only has the 4 connections and not the 5. i think if we can find out why then we can mod the stalk to have the +12v im sure we will get there mate, Save you taking the airbag of and stuff just pull the connection of the back of the stalk to test that should be good enough to test for voltage
  19. Update, Right managed to fin the install but doesnt work, i have read the measure blocks via VAg Com and the stalk seems to be doing nothing. So i tried it with a volt meter to see if i get any voltage but nothing. So now looking into maybe a 5th wire for the stalk power or something similar maybe bridge on to one of the wires which will then give the stalk its power are well not to worry sure i will get there in the end me hopes

Right ive Ran into a problem, wired up all the ecu and stuff to the stalk enabled it in vagcom ETC BUT the stalk doesnt seem to be working, i thought maybe something else so i tested the actual output of the stalk to see if theres any voltage on the SET and ENABLE wires but there was NOTHING! so tomorrow i will put 12v to the SET and ENABLE and see if this works Also tried to use block 22 to check see if there is anything there and there seems to be nothing at all so i think the next port of call is the two switchs with 12v and see if that enables the cruise.

  22. yes mate it was on, and it should be easy to clear, got to Airbags, check faults clear faults and that should be it me thinks jsut make sure you connect it back up as the fault wont clear hehe
