I've never had a good experience with Kwik Fit. The couple of times I have been, my cars have been condemned by them! Saying I needed my whole brake system changed etc! Little Lupo looks good. Wish I'd had as good a 1st car.

Well I got thorougly sick of the Standard seats so picked these up cheap: Absolutely love them! The Drivers side bolster has a hole so I'm gunna try and sort that. I also got the rear bench so me and my Dad are gunna use that to recover a Lupo Split fold Rear Bench. Then I'm gunna have to get the rest of the interior black! CV joint has gone as well so thats another job that I'll have to sort this week.

Plans look good although I'm not a fan of fully colour coded bumpers.

With mine being a 1.0 Arosa I'd kinda planned on getting a 1.4 box for the better ratio's. I'll keep an eye out for Felicia's in the scrappies. I want a whole donor car so I can figure it out a bit more easily plus hopefully make my money back breaking the donor. Any information on the conversion would be sweet!

Definitely sounds like the stat or you've got a massive airlock. Try taking the stat out and putting it in a pan of cold water. Slowly heat the water and see if the stat opens.

Try your local scrapyards. Silver is a reasonably popular colour for Arosa's you might find one!

Well it looks like i've killed my OS driveshaft because of my lack of notch. Are all 1 litre Lupo and Arosa driveshafts interchangeable? I have a Mk1 Arosa 1litre. Just wanna make sure I get the right one. Cheers

Haha no sticker bombing, not really my thing. Its an '81 Mk5. So the least cool one! Currently lowered 3", spax adjustables and polybushed throughout. Got a 2litre Pinto with a decent cam and type 9 5 speed sitting on the unit floor ready to go in, with 4 branch manifold etc. Also got some bike carbs in the garage which I'm contemplating using as well. Just waiting for the welding to be finished, which I can't do, then I can crack on building it back up. Will be finished in April(!) and I'm never selling it Haha. Hopefully once its roadworthy I'll just keep evolving it. Gunna be my hoon mobile! Trackdays, rwyb's maybe a spot of hill climb for a laugh might even try a spot of drifting!

Agreed! My Arosa is my daily! The fact I've fiddled on with it is purely because I enjoy driving a car that is different and improved but I wouldn't class it as a "project". That said I do have a "project" in the shape of a Ford Cortina, but that doesn't really get much internet coverage Haha.
