Spotted a red GTi (M111UPO) on the M5 just south of Birmingham, think they left at junction 4 or 5? Anyone on here?

Thanks! But because of this thread, someone was banned only to sign up again and leave an unforgivably disrespectful comment in Dan's thread, so sorry for that. I'm not blaming myself for the comment, but the bottom line is if this thread wasn't started as it was, the comment would not have been left in Dan's thread! So sorry again...

I did see what he posted and it was disrespectful almost beyond belief. Ok, so he's annoyed with most people on this site for going against him in what he says, but I'm sure Dan didn't harm him. Way out of order and deserved to be banned (again).

Thanks! Some forums seem to be like that though, it gets to the point where you don't go to shows because of what people are like. You all seem friendly enough though, so I may consider some vw shows this year if I can get time off work for them!

Sorry but it does seem like a friendly place to be honest, and correct me if I'm wrong, but Nikki didn't tell you to go did she? She just said feel free to go if you don't like it! To me that's not unfriendly?! Everyone has their own opinion though so I don't think people can argue with what you've said!

Just to put the record straight, it wasn't my invention, just someone on UKFN who posted it and got some quite nasty replies! Just don't see why people on there seem to be so critical. IDGM summed it up really, some are friendly but most tend to be immature! Just wanted to see the comments left on this site and how they compared (funnily enough, it seems friendlier over here!) Because I drive a Fiesta, I'm in the UKFN OC. Loads of people have said how catty people are on there though and how other owner's clubs are friendlier. So, since this forum seems to be a friendly and welcoming place, I was just wondering what people on here would say in reply to this guy posting this on UKFN: Cheers!

Yea gotta say at £2k I'd be chuffed! I did quotes on a lupo gti under next year's circumstances (21, 1yr NCB, driving 3 and half yrs) and the cheapest I got back was £1200, so I'd happily pay £2k for the Golf!
