Hi, i dont really know how to say this..... you know when you turn your headlights on....the interior lights will turn on right...? and do you notice the difference when you turn your side-beams and dull beams on the interior lights come on brighter when full beams are on...but when you're side beams are on the interior lights are not as bright....are you with me...?... well lately whatever lights (side or full) my interior lights meaning...the radio dash, heater dials, speed clocks etc ALL seem to be flashing....and by flashing i mean they keep flickering as if i keep changing my full/side beams on...so my interior lights are constantly flickering from a dim blue light to a bright blue light... can anybody tell me whats going on...?..i went to VW and they said they couldnt see anything wrong...... some people say its a electrical fault..and some say its a battery fault.... any ideas please...

Hi when i purchased my loopo..the door was off the hinges so it felt like the door was dropping....but that can be fixed by tightening the hinges....and yes i needed to service mine because the previous owner didnt and missed the 30k one i think...cant quite remember.... so yeh check the door! but thats a common problem i heard

I have a few bubbles on the paint work of my drivers wing, and my lupo is a 2004 would that mean VW should fix that up for free? or am I out of the warranty thing?

I was also curious about the ABS business too, because my 04 lupo doesnt have it either...well when i put my key in the ignition i dont see a ABS light on the dash board

I have a similar problem.....my wipers just seem to make this horrible sound when i use them it sreeches across even when its raining at 1st i thought it was because the wipers were dirty or something but turns out i get that horrible sound when it rains as well ....does that mean the wipers need changing or is it the wiper motor itself? the back wiper yes it happens to me it wipes a good 3 times after i turn it off for some reason

Hi, I am in need to change my cam belt soon as its been 4 years and by reading the posts above I assume the 'time belt' is the same thing? or is it another things to add to my list of things that need changing I read above that I need to change the water pump as well is that correct?

I have 1.4 but mine has central locking though, the thing that really annoys me is no remote central locking, having to use the key to open the car doors. But yeah I agree with you opening the doors are annoying. Can I also ask, does the VW have remote control for lupos?

Thanks guys will have to post pictures once I get my hands on the Lupo next week... Thats what the "S" means haha. I so wanted the sports model 100 bhp, will have to live with 75. Does the S model and the Sports model share the same engine???

Thanks for the great response, now I'm armed with the knowledge to close the deal on my Lupo , can't wait now. Top this tip will have to try the paper test before the sale, as I know with my current car its pretty poo to have ice on the inside.... Thanks again, now I know not to ask for 3 keys lol.
