Do you still have the rear lights for sale?

I am planning on fitting new brake pads and discs front on back on an mk2 arosa sport. I was wondering if I need any special tools for compressing the piston (does it need turning while compressing?), also when doing the rears what happens with the handbrake, does it need to be off or just disconnected?

remote locking mk2 arosa

Thanks for your help, will have a look see if i can see anything obvious wrong with the key inside. Good find on ebay, cheapest i had found was £14, might even upgrade to a flip key. -

Yep both the buttons inside work, everything locks up properly when i use the key in the lock too. Could re-syncing the key to the car help? I dont understand because it unlocks fine :S -
The remote locking on my Arosa has stopped working when i press the button to lock it, it works everytime when unlocking. Could it just be the button in the key has broken? Also does anyone have a picture of the lower connection under the bumper for the headlight?

jgaskham replied to jgaskham's topic in Car Care, Maintenance and Mechanical
So if it is a cable one can i adjust it? Could i have done something to make the pedal rest lower? I remember seeing a black thing sticking up under the throttle body, which i gave a wipe cus that was filthy too, could that have done something? -

Its rest position seems to be lower, it seems to be much lower then the brake and clutch pedal. -
I've just taken off my throttle body to clean it, put it all back together and it works fine, just i have a strange feeling my gas pedal seems lower than before. Could this have happened or is it just my imagination? Its a mk2 Arosa sport by the way.

Ring a few local scrappys see if they have any lupos or arosas in, theres sometimes people on ebay breaking cars for parts too.

New leads and plugs? This guide http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=43238 shows you how to remove the airbox to get the tb. -
You can order parts direct from SEAT or VW if the part number are the same as the lupo. GSF also have none oem parts that are usually cheaper, but they dont have everything. I'll be interested to see if this solves your heavy clutch as a new cable must be much cheaper then a new clutch. Might even have a go at fitting it myself, was pretty easy on my old fiat cinquecento Mine is a sport and has black interior apart from the roof lining, visors and grab handles. There is often a few people selling interior parts on here if you want to swap for the black, or just look on ebay or a scrappy for it. I beleve the lower parts of the lupo and arosa are interchaneable.
