As for people laughing, yeah, its jealousy, you will also get all the boy racers wanting to have a go with yer car. 7. Closer pic of the wheels? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  8. Warm weather affects more to cars with Compressors than to induction kits. The loss of power could be because of the warm weather but i wouldn't think you'd lose [i:post_uid7]all[/i:post_uid7] your power ???
  9. M5TT X Vw Lupo GTi (Black) go look at your car from the side and imagine it in red style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> If that's a 1 litre i'd buy one yesterday style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  10. LOL style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> I'd post pics of my car if i had something in it style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
  11. Standard suspension wears outside, i know, i meant, as you can adjust the angle with these bolts, then tyres will probably wear from the inside, cos you wont set your wheels to go more outside on the upper part than on the lower part. crap i know what i wanna say, just dunno how to express it ???
  12. Some help here: http://www.moddedcars.com/`cgi-bin`....8;t=515 http://www.moddedcars.com/`cgi-bin`....8;t=233 http://www.moddedcars.com/`cgi-bin`....55;st=0 style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  13. The thing about the angle/road is simple. Wheels make an angle with the road. It will be 90º in most cases, although this bolts i told you about allow you to choose the angle you want between the wheels and the road (don't know how much exactly they allow you to change it). The more outwards is the lower part of the tyres, the handling of the car will improve. But your tyres will be worn from the inside. Will post pics if I can find any. (hope it has made sense this time ??? )
  14. H&R do some wheel bolts and you can choose the angle between the wheel and the road. Hope you get my point ???
  15. My car didn't do that. It just drove forward when in reverse
  16. You mean you put it into reverse and instead of backwards it goes forward??
  17. QUOTE(Alan VW)I told u to stop somekin that sTUFF!! u feeeling ok mate.. .....The question is, Are YOU ok?? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
  18. @ Dubster: I don't think yours will fail if it hasn't failed yet. mine has failed three times in 44.000kms. Guarantee is expiring in three months so will speak to my dealer when i take it to service in 500kms or so. Wouldn't like to sell mine, anyway if i did i'd get another one in... 19. -Lupo 1.7 Diesel Hatchback 1999 Bought at nearly 4 years old from reputable VW garage. Within 2 months the gearbox has thrown its hand in. Fortunately it's still in warranty -Today I found out my gearbox will need replacing. VW have told me they can not possibly give me a new gearbox (although it is under full warranty) -However I've just be made aware that all Lupo's have a common gearbox fault, and VW customer care aren't interested that the bearings in the gearbox can easily come lose and cost a mere £1000 to have replaced -Car needed the following work doing to it within the first 6 months and 9,000 miles [1] New gearbox Same here. And i also have that squeak in the rear suspension, now not fitting the springs till i get it serviced (600kms to go yay!)
