  1. It is a really nice car, it's a Sport I think. Front end lets it down though, standard front bumper. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
  2. I'd be up for a set too please! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> I know Dubmeister can do Spanish ones too, so might be worth approaching them...
  3. yep thats my car for sure lol, im currently posting from 100% Tuning in Belgium, im of to throw up now lol this is carter posting from martins account because im to drunk to log in my self
  4. Yeh, it was originally 3.30, but the time was moved earlier, to make most of the daylight. So it's 2pm now. There was about 30 cars there last time. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  5. Unofficial No-Rice.com Northern Meet, Birch Services M62 Saturday 4th February 2006 After the success of the last one last month, another meet is organised for this Saturday. Held at Birch services on the M62 (between J18 an J19). The meeting time is 2pm on the Leeds/Eastbound side. We'd like to make this meet a regular fixture, so let's not give them any reason to object to us being there... So, please pretty please..... Drive slowly coming in, around and leaving the car park. We all know our cars are fast. A car park isn't the place to take cars for test runs, demo's etc. Save that for elsewhere. (Hint - motorway adjacent to where the services are perhaps? - you can take a car to 70mph there no problems) Park in one bay, not diagonally across 2 or 3 ! ! ! Dont park in the aisles. We don't want to create obstructions for anyone to complain about. Other people use the car park too. Sound systems to be kept to a reasonable level. Put your litter in the bins provided. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  6. I think the original date was in June, it's been moved to the 20th August now! I don't think that clashes with anything though! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Me and Mel will both be there anyway. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Tom you can meet us at Birch bud, there'll be a convoy for definite. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

    NW meet

From experience any kind of meet in the TC grounds will get shut down very quickly, the SEAT sites used to have their meets around there, but always got moved on. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> The driving range car park could work though! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> I'll be happy to come down when it's been arranged. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  8. They look really good! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Should of put my old Ibiza Cupra wheel's on Mel's Lupo! Ibiza Cupra's are the same fitment as Lupo GTi's mate, so they bolt straight on. That's why ppl use Ibiza Cupra brakes on their Lupo's, same as G60 ones. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  9. http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=15222 Saw this on Sunday too, on the A34!
  10. Nice one mate, get some pics up asap once you get it back! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> I was gonna say I hope you spoke to Carter before buying anything, lol.

    Wheel spacers

Grapo, anything decent will be fine, just make sure they're hubcentric so then you're not putting the strain on the bolts etc. Loads of ppl on SeatCupra.Net fit 15/20mm hubcentric rear spacers to their Ibiza's to give it a wider track as like the Lupo the rear is narrower. The IHI boys with 350+ bhp use them, with no issues at all. I'd expect to pay around £60-80 for a pair inc longer bolts etc. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> They're on my shopping list for parts for my Cupra too. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  12. Awesome mate! I was talking you at the VWSN too, me and my girlfriend, and my mate Carter had the Arosa on air-ride. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Looking forward to seeing it done! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Will look mint slammed!
  13. I haven't even seen it yet! lol Remember to show me tonight Mel! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  14. I reckon I'll be down there again, was a cracking day last time! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Tom, I've got a video of your car on the RR, ask me for it on MSN next we're both online, I'll send you it across. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  15. Looking good Abi!! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  16. I would never believe what you read in mags such like Fast Car/Max Power as the majority of time it's ****! I know of so many cars that have been featured in those mags with false information in the articles it's untrue... Bill Brockbank had JBS do the 1.8T is his wife's Lupo, but I'm pretty sure it didn't cost him £8k for it... AND, there are a numerous 150 1.8T engines running IHI turbo's (300+ bhp) without any internal modifications, and they're reliable. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  17. Yes, they are 195/40/16s for definite, lol. They might not have any in stock at the moment, that's why they're not listed. There are only 4 types of tyre in this size available as far as I know: Toyo T1R Pirelli Zero Nero Continental Sport Contact2 Dunlop Sport SP9000 Give Rimstyle a ring, 0870 027 8434. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  18. The tyres came through RimStyle from Toyo UK. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> You can buy them from MyTyres & Blackcirles too, WheelsEtc might sell them too. Sometimes they're not listed as they're not currently in stock. Oh, and they were £58 a corner delivered. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  19. Standard Lupo offset is ET38 IIRC, so they'll be 3mm further out towards your arch than normal. They should be fine! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Mel's RH's run ET35 on 7.5 x 16 and no rubbing! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  20. Messy, that engine is on it's fourth owner, lol. It was originally Bic's engine from his GTi, built by TMS. Then my mate Matt bought it and put it in his Rallye, which was an animal, stripped out, 2 bucket seats, Forum Puma Racing 4 pots! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Then Matt put it into Kate's 106, which was a nice 106, leather etc, and now she's sold it already, only had it in for a few months! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="confused.gif" />
  21. Frobez, I don't know if this is any interest to you, but I'm sure I read a post on SCN about someone who fitted aero blades to the standard Ibiza arms... style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  22. Well I know a lot of it is down to driver skill, getting off the line well etc, but 14.7 is an exceptionally quick time for a standard VTS. I used to own a 106 GTi which is basically the same, quickest time I ever had was a 15.9, and I went up against a friend's new VTS which was considered to be a 130bhp model and fast for a VTS, and he only got a 15.8! I was at York today and another lad took his VTS up today which hasan aftermarket exhaust, decat and filter, and his best was a 15.9. So to me it does seem strange. :? I've no doubt they are capable of quick times, one of my best friends had a 106 Rallye with a 16v on TB's, proven 170bhp, timed at 14.08. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  23. She's looking sweet! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Good choice those rims, wonder who sorted those out... lol style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> You should of posted this in Reader's Rides though hun! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
  24. In a word, yes! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> If they are Mk3 Cupra wheels. Standard Cupra wheels are 6J x 16, ET38, 4 x 100, which is the same as Lupo's as far as I'm aware. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  25. Any pics of your exhaust td? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
