  1. I've got `195-40s` on mine - 7 inch wide. Its only about 2 mm different in diameter and the low profile looks sweet. Just watch out for curbing as the rim sticks out further than the tyre.
  2. plus u'll lose the curved mirror if u replace the standard ones. maybe u could get seat to colour code the whole mirror and the base plate - not sure if anyone's done this before on a arosa/luup so not sure wot it'll look like...
  3. I had a quote from a german company for the FK highsports for £370 delivered for the 16v Arosa. A few guys thought it might fall through. Any ideas if they still come with waranty etc? (sorry for hijacking)
  4. by "sports mirrors" do u mean some `after-market` ones rather than standard ones?
  5. "one point six litre wonder" doesn't quite have the same ring to it tho!! anyone know roughly how much would a brand new or good condition second hand 1.6 engine and gear box cost?
  6. surely u have a block connector and a manual?
  7. Variety is the spice of life. I live with 6 girls and i come on here to get away from their fighting and whinging! Peace love and unity is what its all about!
  8. Just wondering if anyone has bought things through www.goingfast.de or indeed any foreign websites? any good/bad experiences to be aware of? Thanks.
  9. looking good. wish i knew how to photoshop but the missus would go on sex strike!
  10. evil!! imagine seeing that in your rear mirror. then it overtakes you and you realise its on a 1litre! i love the lights.

Quite like these, similar to Konigs style (if only konigs came in 16s or lower)
  12. even 34 litres at 80p a litre only costs £27 you must have a supersize tank!!! talking of the 6litre reserve tank... i assume that means you have 6 litres left when the petrol light comes on???
  13. Lucky git getting a car bought by the parents!!
  14. Looks very tidy. Any planned mods?
  15. the whites look amazing if u want the rally style. paint the lettering on the tyres too!
  16. Tigz... how far off the ground is the exhaust? ok over speed bumps?
  17. so many people do it this way so it'll be fine for the time being if ur skint. i put lowering springs on a 95k nova and it kept going for a few yrs after. and now half my coilover budget has been rinsed on repairs i might have to do the same
  18. Just had my car in at SEAT cos its running rough especially when cold. One of the oxygen sensors is faulty. Gonna cost £170 inclusive to replace. So thats £235 if you include the diagnostics today! Thats exactly half my coilover budget - grrr! Gonna ring a mate who runs a garage to see if its something he can do for cheaper, but has anyone ever tried another dealership to see if they would quote less??? "Every little helps"!
  19. got the same problem with my sub and back seats. the gap aint that bad
  20. the back looks sweet, but i aint sure about the front...
  21. doh... http://forum.clublupo.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=992
  22. Carter (think thats his name) done this to his Arosa. The pics r on here somewhere but i can't find them. You may also want to smooth the gap between the lower and upper bumper sections as well.
  23. surely if ur car's less than 3 yrs old its gotta be covered as a fault?
  24. I bought the similar sub and amp 4 years ago when i first started driving and it still sounds ok in my Arosa now and it cost my about the same as a packet of pork scratchings!! Good stuff!
  25. I'm sure there's no way you can make the lights brighter as the brightness depends on the bulbs. You can change the brighness of the dash lights in the mk2 arosa, but nothing else.
