new coilpack fitted. after having staring issues and a bit of mis-firing recently, i thought id best order a new one. just as well! ...one of the points was completley corroded, and actually broke off inside the ignition lead whilst removing it. all sorted now though, so hopefully that has sorted the problems out - and fingers crossed that the leads are ok and don't keep popping off etc!

they`ve been in over 3 actually phil, march 07 - first bugger to have them in a gti, and the rears still don`t match! lol the exhaust is a tad low in the previous pictures but is a touch better now thanks to the custom job. thanks for the comments though, it helps me appreciate what ive got its deffo a keeper, i just need my list of stuff sorted! like i say, i will hopefully get out a bit more this year... ed38 is on the cards!

last updated september 07!! ...well, just thought id give this a sneaky update. to the older members - just so you all know, im still about, just not really been on here much. still very much feeling the lupo love! car hasnt changed much, same old same old! ive got a list of stuff i want to do, but not had the time nor the money. the front end seems a bit wierd of late, a bit wallowy. so that needs a trip to the garage to find the problem. oh and my road tax is due at the end of the month. on the plus side, my bmc is now sat in the garage - i got really bored with that noise, so the standard airbox is back on along with engine cover!!! im in the middle of trying to set up my digital radio to work along side my satnav, hidden mind. so thats keeping me occupied. PLANET ROCK! gonna try and sort out a panel filter too, but thats on the list. thanks for listening fellas, see ya round in the summer hopefully!

nice. gotta love welsh roads... i would love to do a bit of proper driving around those parts, but its always been a it too much of a journey for me to get around to doing. ive been down there camping a few times, and there are some truely exellent roads around snowdonia, but the elan valley etc has always been a bit too much of a journey for the missus to be be happy about it!
