  1. And thanks Silver I can't wait to start :-)
  2. @Rich hahaha that made me laugh. Didn't even notice a reply til Danny said about hairypies haha. Thanks for saying hello though. Yes what's wrong with that name? Wait til you see what I'm gonna do to the headliner ! And Rich I'm gonna do stuff myself, are you proud of me? Rich we going to the unit for some seats. Dan says would you like to come for a slice of his pie? X
  3. I need to remove mine too. From what I've heard and been told you need to be firm but careful. It's supposed to be really hard to get off. There's always a chance of the clips breaking. I think patience is a virtue in this situation. I'm gonna take a look at mine today so I'll let you know if I figure it out
  4. Hmm I see what you mean, and I'd rather it looked perfect. I was just somehow hoping I wouldn't have to remove it ha. So in that case would I need headliner material? Not just simple dressmaking fabric? Because I believe headliner material is a bit spongy and alot thicker right?
  5. Does anyone know how you can get your own image onto some vinyl wrap?? I've been searching for days and can't find anything! Preferably cheap as possible!
  6. @Vwlup0 I love that black and red. This is the theme I'm going for in my little red cherryloop!
  7. Ok so I have been reading loads of things regarding retrimming headliners, the majority of which say to remove the headliner material, but is there anyway I can just use some spray on adhesive and attach the new fabric over the old one? I don't really want to go to all the bother of removing the original headliner fabric, which is in perfectly good nick, I just want to personalise it a little and freshen it up I'm going to be using thin dressmaking fabric if this is possible?
  8. No longer a Golf driver, (sharing the mk3 with the fella) he got me a Lupo for xmas (how generous:-)) Totally new to forums, I can never understand them ha! But I'm gonna try and keep up with posts from now :-) So I'm hoping to post a few before and after pictures of my lovely cherry-pie on some sort of thread. My plans are to completely renovate the interior, using a sewing machine and some gorgeous fabric :-) I'm leaving all the technicalities to the mister and the master vw guru... so that's basically all I have to say for myself right now. So please feel free to say hello :-) and any advice would be much appreciated. (And if anyone is gonna be arsey and horrible politely do one and don't bother wasting the energy typing) ???
