ive managed to get mines sitting with exhaust litterly mms off the ground and sills about a centremtetre, the custom coilies from germany are great for going way lower than normal, i run it with usualy just about 3 inches clearence day to day and dont have too much probs except ill need to remove a little of inner wing as driveshaft hits it on bad bumps so much so i ripped the rubber push clean off lol Side skirts that sit 2 inches of the ground sometimes hit the ground got tiny crack in em at back on inside no where ut really matters, getting em strengthened anyways After i slammed it they put tonned of big bad speed humps in my estate so takes me ages to get out got to take evryone at a angle and theres always some fool parked on em making it worse so normally toot the the horn for a bit to annoy em if its late on lol

im thinking of the changing the clock surround boost guage etc so may be selling it, id to make a fibre glasss mould to get boodt guage in properly, im looking at fitting a hks camp unit box, which wirse into loom and then plugs into a screen and that displays speedo rev boost the works. My pdas sat nave already gives me speedo as well but its out a little tiny bit. Watch this space, ill keeps yous updated of the fibre glass install im doing in car, going to have a false floor in the car even at the front with real crazy stuff lets just say ive spent 10k on sounds lol, Im keeping this lupo as a second car eventually spent too much to sell it and i do love it, to think i bought it as a run around at first so i could v6 a escort i had, since sold it and plowed the cash into the lupo

has anyone taken out the side heater vents? Whats the easiest way to do it ie where to try unclip em, ive stripped out the complete centre unit and changed the din size colour coded it silver also changed surrounds for clocks to gti spec but replaced clock with boost guage any ideas then how to remove side air vents????

u can always lighten the lupo up though like ive done, ie gti wings bonnet etc, the interiors in em can be quite a weight i removed mines and replaced it with a lighter one which made it quicker have since emptied it again as im fitting a fibreglass install, seats out job in back cos of all the sounds and no

I think its ok but its turning more to yaris styling or something, it's not got same crazy look of the lupos we have today, long live our lupos lol I've seen pics of the one thats to replace gti somewhere ill see if i can find it and post it, I dont think it's available to buy anywhere yet, it looked much better but not anywhere near as good as gti and lupos we have the now!!!

Opt for the custom job I spent 300 quid and that was my coilovers fitted, full custom stainless steel exhaust system which is exact same as my mates gti lupos even though mines is a tdi and price also included them removing my massive spare well and welding a plate in and sealing whole of under the car and its spot on!!! It doesnt sounds like a diesel no on beleives it is till i let em see engine even then they still wonder cos under the bonnets looking more like a valver cos the nos kit etc

snoopstahs spot on its only bout 15, I noticed before fitting my coilovers this as id gti gear on mines without lowering it and sat it next to a standard gti and sat about 15 higher than gti, but since ive fitted the custom coilovers i got made up on germany ive got a clearance off ground which is just a few inches, ive had it sit about 1 inch of the deck one occasion anyone wanting a pic of that let me know it looks nuts the rear rims right inside my arches

what exactly do u mean, Ive managed to have the back quarters on my changed drasticly, i got them widened and rounded like gtis, anythings poss, if u mean sounds i manaaged to fit 2X12" subs in box, 3 amps, 6x9s, 2 power caps and crossover etc, I managed to fit all that in the tiny boot but could see out the rear window so I added a camera that was on all time Im driving and its wired to a screen built into a sun visor its trick! Let me know what u mean Ive mines stripped out completly inside xcept for 2 seats and nos bottle so i can send pics of the room available cheers

Ive tried falcon on 18s and hated em, ive 45 15s toyo proxes i got em for £80 the pair fitted. It took a while though as my cars so damn low. I feel there real good majority of the time, Im looking to replace em with the new ones that are getting released shortly

OK I didnt notice there was a second page lol, I've just went a bought the sills and some more extras, Ive opted for the ones with som carbon fibre as my cars silver and thisll break up it a little can sometimes go ott with colour coding, ****** just spent about £120 on it, I can help myself

ive got one lying in box to go in just not got round to it yet i dont think itll do much noticeable difference to be honest or have u had good gains with cold induction kit?

Im doing engine mounts very soon looking to get uprated as i can feel it wanting o jump out the engine bay and run away from the car theres that much torque. According to a mate vw u can changed the turbo and get a manfold made up for it, im defo looking at bigger intercooler setup going to give dastek a ring and see what they can do ive already got cold air induction kit for it, still in box not got round to fitting it, the full stainless exhaust helps a little but as ive upswept pipe it doesnt have dirty the back of the car espcially when its wet it catches all the crap thats possibly why weve down pipes as standard lol im seriously considering what ur talking about where u been chatting to would be interestd seeing em myself cheers mate

ive added a tuning box to mines that adjusts things a bit which takes it just over 100bhp, for £100 quid theyd changed pricing but i can get it for that price again and comes with a life time warranty and takes 5 mins to fit or remove, ive had it in for well over a year with no problems at all!!! let me know if anyone wants one may be able to do bulk order as there looking for agents for as little as 70 quid

the tuning box ive fitted is proven to take it to 100bhp, that was tested on another tdi lupo same as mines with nothing else done, the NOS 50bhp jets obviously do a lot as well. I'm going to to take it to dastek for rr test and possibly get a uprated intercooler. With regards to it being front heavy with a gold engine and wings wouldnt take it. Remember mines was a normal shell the inner wings are still the originals and the outer wings are lighter so this and changing the bonnet will lighten the front a bit. As with suspension I'm running coil overs I got imported from germany especially for it, they can be adjusted in stiffness as well as ride height. I reckon with the amount of ice install ive going in the rear theatll even up the weight and porsche rims that I'm hopefully buying of a mate will do for traction. Its either bigger or change manifold and turbo, but what annoys me about the 14 is the gearbox as only allows car to go to about 130mph before red lining. And yeah ive had it off the clock which says 120mph without the nos. I've a induction and cooling system for intake to fit that i got from germany along with my suspension but havent had the time to fit it and the boost guage still aint wired up!! Whats everyone think 1400 tdi tuned to the moon or transplant???

As prob quite a lot will know ive went overboard with building a gttdi lupo and got it at 150bhp at moment i can get it up to 200bhp roughly but im thinking of fitting a gttdi engine from a golf or even tdi pd engine, that way after toying with it ill get it up to 250bhp plus. Anyone specialise in fitting engines? Anyone know a engine, box and loom I really want to build a diesel car to show some people just how good they can be now. Just driving mine at 150bhp and thinking what it would be like with 250bhp plus, that would well amazing especially considering ive lightened the car with alloy gti wings etc any ideas folks???

But best thing is I've got the bhp from standard 75bhp to over 150bhp, this partly done by a tuning box couple of other little tricks and not to forget the 50bhp wizards of nos dry kit, anyone feel free to drop a `e-mail` and I'll happily send some of its show pics and updated pics as I'm still working on custom inside.
