well it was tape and looked too dodgy after a week or so, so just took it off. Did you have a red strip on yours when you had the white mo's on? How did you do it if you did? Just wondering if theres any another ways of making it last...

Well the loop was dirty and needed a clean, and since it was my day off and a good day...thought it was time. Want to lower it a bit more..but its not possible. lol Comments welcome!

mines not too bad. i rarely hit, but when i do its painfull splitter scrapes on normal roads though...

Just got a call from vw as cars in for a service and cambelt etc. Telling me that my brakes are 75% worn and its gna cost near enough £400 for new ones etc. What bigger type of system can i get? Maybe g60 brakes etc? Not looking to spend a bomb etc...but something a little bigger would look nice under the schmidts. Been looking on http://www.gsfcarparts.com/ for corrado brakes but i see they are 256mm disks? Are they same size or bigger than normal gti ones? What should i get and where from? Thanks, Mario

lol fiesta's got an 1800 xflow running on twin 45 carbs..pretty nice and yes it is a 360

Anybody know where i can get this done? Whether just at a normal exhaust place or somewhere else? I'm talking about the pipe that connects the kit to the engine, usually something like samco hosing, but have seen many with a nice metal pipe going down... Also..anybody got any pics? Cheers, Mario

I read somewhere that a major prob with the gti engine not being a few more horses is because of the exhaust ports or something are small, but the inlet side of the engine is much better? Remember it was in one of the threads not so long ago. Just wondering if this is true really, and who could do such a thing (names and numbers if poss). Wouldnt mind getting it done in the near future if its the right thing to do... Thanks, Mario

Yup know what you mean..thats why i havent opted for a sub. Just wanted the clarity and 'upggraded' sound. Yup..the headunit is a pioneer AV1C X1BT. Its got face off, bluetooth phone through the speakers, speedo with acceleration g's, sideways g's...all sorts really. Really happy with it.

Sounds very nice. Clarity is amazing on them..they dont distort at all..all the way up to something like volume 50 which is loooud.. The amp is mounted just on the back seats for now..nothing special and as for the tweaters, they are only sitting in the place where the vw tweaters were. Stripped them out and they sit in nicely..so..so far so good.
