I smashed a sump on my gti...had the car off road for a few weeks by the time vw got a new sump in from germany! As with any lowered car..(if its lowered), they are prone to cracking...mind you there was a brick i didnt see in the middle of the road!

Well..me and my bro wanted to get in on a project..so thought what else but a mk1.. Its a helios blue mk1 gti campaign..best colour imo, and not exactly easy to find.. Weve been up and down the country looking and finally found a nice enough shell to start our project on! Enjoy And one of the loops just for good measure!

lol thanks for all the comments... Tried really hard this year to clean up the paint...had it in the bodyshop just before so they went over it a few times...and a few hand polishes did the job i reckon!

Ive been reading up on supercharges lately, as im looking to purchase one. Ive been looking at the m45 eaton which as i understand is the mini cooper s one... I have then been on the eaton website and read about 5th generation supercharges. Can somebody clarify what this is for me? Is it a new version of supercharger, i.e. the m45 off a fairly new cooper s will be a 5th generation supercharger? I have also heard about a shurrock supercharger. Are there any advantages or disadvantages to getting one of these compared to the eaton? Thanks, Mario

this is the one im looking at but it comes in at £480 with airbag, which is silly money for a steering wheel..

Im really after a mk5 golf gti steering wheel with airbag, but that costs around £480 new, which is a bit much.. Can anybody put me in contact with breakers that might have them? Cheers, Mario

Where can i get one of these made up for a supercharger or turbo etc? Are there any companies that will actually custom make one perfectly to fit etc? Im sure there are, just no idea which ones! The car is back from the bodyshop looking alot better (still not 100% mind), but i can now go onto getting my interior done at last! And a few pics taken from the day:
