I had the heater matrix go on my Corrado 16v and the garage charged me a fortune in labour to do it, few years later one went in my VR6 so set about doing it myself full dash out job and seats carpets etc as they were soaked, different job yes but the same applies, Do your research Set a good amount of time Be methodical Well worth it and just think of that money you will be saving and the satisfaction

Right I'm an idiot, seems I was reading the fuse box the wrong way round, it's a blown fuse (I hope anyway) I'll pick one up tomorrow, there looks to be a fuse for the left and right and one has gone Thanks adam

All wires seem intact took the other side off and that's the same so I don't think it's that Thanks though Adam,

Wondered if anyone could help me with this problem. My drivers side main beam doesn't not work and the xenon does not flash on either. I accidentely damaged the bulb for the main beam about a week ago so tried 2 new bulbs (in the main beam light) but it still won't work and neither does the xenon. The side light and dipped beam on the xenon work fine but as you put main beam on the passengers side all lights up fine the drivers xenon stays the same and the main beam doesn't come on at all on the inner one, thanks Adam

Well i've got 1 inner main beam bulb out and the xenon doesn't flash on that same side (It did before) so i'm guessing that's related to the bulb that's damaged which I did when putting side light bulbs in. Hopefully it's an easy fix Thanks Adam

Cheers guys, where is this bulb location. I know obv where it is but what should it sit next to, ABS light, EPC? What bulb is it too Thanks for the help Adam

Eurocarparts always has offers on, GSF or TPS?

In fact I've just checked and I have no light indicators to tell me my lights are on only the dash illumination, seat belt, EPC, ABS etc etc are all lighting up and fine Adam

I have only just noticed this but surely it cant be right, when I put my main beam on there is no light on the dash that indicates this (usually a blue light in most other cars) Is this correct or have I got a bulb out on the dash, Cheers Adam

Really nice mate, some good little touch's on it. Can't beat a bit of OEM+, I like the gear knob but mine being a 5 speed will have to have a look for another one...

They seem to be the ones I ordered mate, direct replacement

The silver one? Says it has a custom induction kit if its that one so not sure he would have the original stuff

Would a standard Lupo base plate fit and work?

Awesome Lupo, really wish i would of held on for a red one. Looks really class in red and some nice little mods going on. Think I'm going to get mine to a nice stage then sell it for another colour. R32's are mint as well really miss mine (Carbonio and non-res milltek on it too) but at over half the price the Lupo is pretty good value!

Proper broke my drivers wing mirror yesterday but luckily and somehow the glass didn't break nor the back cover just the metal. Are these model specific (i'm on about the metal bit) Are they all the same or do they differ in some way? Rang TPS and from what I think I need it's £120 plus vat and i'm not paying that!

Oh and i've just broke the drivers side mirror this morning, happy days eh!

List of things to do are as follows New aerial base (radio doesn't really work) New stubby aerial Spoiler brake light doesn't work Airbox and engine cover (get shut of the K&N) Rear quarter wants going over again, paint is good but colour fractionally off Just bought some NGK spark plugs and fuel filter, will fit when this weather behaves itself. Might need a clutch in the next year feels like it has a very slight warped flywheel which is bugging me... Sell it and buy something else.

First thing to do was put a new red stripe round the grille, old one was faded and got this one off eBay for a £5 Next job was to get the original red leads bought and get rid of these ones that didn't even fit in the holder Much better now and how it should be! Cambelt and water pump done, all genuine parts from the dealer. Also had to get rid of the old expansion tank as it was dirty so a new genuine one was fitted Cool beans now Bulbs up next

Yeah the black GTI was AMD tuned and rolling roadies at 165bhp, the black G60 was running about 197 bhp with a diesel gearbox for better acceleration ( my favorite car that ) Lupo will be getting the little niggles sorted then prob a drop and some wheels

Thought I would stick this up more as a dairy of what I am going to be doing with it and keeping it all together. Been around VW's for years so thought I would share with you what I have been driving previously before I bought the Lupo These are just a few had loads of Corrado's as well (16v, G60, VR6) but it's onto the lupo now which is just going to be a tidy up and make it OEM I didn't want a silver one at all but it was so local and I needed a runabout, few things need sorting but i'm trying to get through them as and when I can, all very original except a couple of things which are being rectified as time goes on. Been much loved in it's life with a great service history, mostly VW dealers then a couple of VW independent specialists. Great fun little cars and after trying to get my mates wife to sell her Raven Blue GTI for well over 8 years I gave up and bought this instead! Updates to come very soon Adam

Yep they look good so thanks to TRX 33 for the info. On a side not I should of bought a red GTI, they look so good!
