  1. my sport does the same. i put it down to the rust dust build up and the fact that i drive it hard then hand brake over nite, so they cool down pressed together. also my car weaves on hard braking n i'm running a standard car. so so dont hink it'll be ur mods. how r ur discs n pads? might be ur brake balancing, i find my hand brake works more on one wheel than the other if i apply it rolling up to a junction, give it a go n c if ur's does, shoud feel the car sink evenly as you apply it gently.

    1.0l induction

the piep off the exhaust heat shield is only there to put some hot air into the iduction system cos if it was only cold air goin in n through the injector it would freeze up. same idea as deoderante always bein so cold pressure + gas = cold, as "my names buck" said if you dont drive it hard till in warms up you shouldn't have a problem. what have you done with your oil breather pipe? could explain ur smell?
  3. i found these to, i asked my local garage n a few other modders to see what they know, was told that they were cheap in both ways. n that they will be good while they last, but how lnog that is is a different matter. one bloke had a set for less than 10k miles. n they failed on him, my thoughts are you get what u pay for, tis up to you
  4. i have a heavy clutch pedal. changed the clutch the cable and also the pedal box as it snapped in the usual. but it's still a lot heaver than i would expect. any clues what it could be? i have been told i have a problem in the gear box but i think it could be somethin to do with my dodgy clutch. help
  5. i've had the clutch done new box oil and new clutch cable, the way they made the decision on the box was to disonnect the gear linkages and use them. if there ok re connect the likages n it was notchy again, so theres a problem in the box. process of elimination
  6. i've had my sport into volk service today they checked my gear linkages cos i was having a similar problem. the out come is a problemin the box, n it needs refurbing. they quoted about 200 - 500 £ dependig on whats wrong in the box. gonna change the box oil n c if it gets worse u found a fix for yours yet?
