  1. Haha! I cannot believe you have had someone say that. That's hilarious! Yeah definitely wanna see them.
  2. Do you know what width they are?
  3. I'm new, so first... Hello : D Second, I'm loving your car! Expensive mod but definitely looks worth it. Really wanna see your car low from the back and your steering wheel!
  4. Much better choice of wheels than the originals! What size are they?
  5. Welcome. I'm new too. Good that you have a decent service history with it!
  6. Wow. Not bad mileage at all for a ten year old car : D I thought mine was good for being 15 and only have 32k on it.
  7. Let's see how it goes. Still haven't got them yet. Currently trying to source a black interior, new headlight bulbs and respraying the grille and badge as we speak : D
  8. Also, I've seen a few people on here with Mk1 Arosa with the debadged grille. Could a few of you post pictures on here so I can see what it looks like. Google isn't really showing up what I'm looking for. : /
  9. I've been having a little look around to see if there are any "How To" guides on here on how to remove an Arosa Mk1 grille. Unfortunately I haven't found anything substantial. Does anyone know how to do this or have any links to how to pages either on here or on another site? P.S Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section.
  10. Really want to see how this black interior went in. I'm looking to do the exact same thing but in my Mk1 Arosa. Get pics up!
  11. I'm on coilovers so the height can be adjusted. I plan on running it quite low anyway. You mean running on 7's at the rear there's still quite a bit of arch gap? J
  12. What sort of stuff did you use to clean it with? J
  13. Anyone got anymore information on Fog Lights for a Mk1 Arosa? J
  14. Hi Gwilty. I've changed the interior light on mine to green... (Not really sure why, but hey...) I'll find out what bulb size for you today. J
  15. I'm still debating what to get. I know I want 13x7's for the front but not sure if I want the hassle of the cops with 13x8's on the back. Gonna go for banded steelies or a set of minilites I think. Still can't decide what colour to get them either as the car's an usual colour! Any suggestions? Thanks J3RWN. I know, same here. Will look much better. J
  16. Thanks mate, yeah I agree. She's raised up for the winter at the minute but should be getting new wheels for it about Christmas time. Let's see what Santa brings.
  17. Little bit of an engine clean Just had new vented brakes put in and a new timing belt. Next steps are new wheels and remove bumpstrips on the doors. That's all I got so far. Leave comments/feedback/whatever : D J
  18. Continued... So after saving a bit of dosh away I decided on my next two mods... Lowering and colour coding a few things. I bought a set of coilovers on eBay for an absolute steal and booked the car in at a local spray shop to have the wing mirrors and bumpstrips painted.
  19. Due to buying the car in the winter I didn't really do much with it... Chirstmas, bad weather... all that lark. When the weather calmed down a little I decided to add a few personal touches to the Arosa. I started by debadging the rear boot lid, completely worth it! I also added some SEAT seatbelt covers and a new CD/DVD/MP3 player to the car. Pretty standard stuff so far.
  20. 1998 Seat Arosa 1.4 MPi 8v In, what I like to call, Spanish Racing Green! May be known as Pickles, or more commonly, The Snatterbox Bax! (In English = Snotter Box) Bought in December 2010. 33k miles, 2 owners from new and a full Seat service history. It looked a bit like this...
  21. Nice thread buddy. Great, clean looking wee car. J
  22. Thanks guys. Yeah I'll get a little build thread going ASAP J
  23. Thought it was about time I opened an account as I've been reading through the forums for a good while now. Some great information to look through! Currently driving a 1998 Seat Arosa 1.4MPi 8v. Had it for a few years now and added few minor style modifications. That is all, I guess... Lol.
