I feel the same The problem isnt me, the problem is other ppl who get in my car and insist on leaving rubbish in the dash try to rattle around

I'm toying with the idea of making some kinda storage in the interior of the lupo, (aside from it's LARGE bootspace...) and am thinking or either some form of centre console, or floor storage in the rear footwells. Curious to know if anyone has tried something like this/how it went if you did?

Except that one doesn't appear to have the Direct Ipod connection, which I really needed. As for DSO II. DSO is great I had it on my last Sony headunit, for which there was a button. On this one there is not. It's good but I'm gonna have to phone them to find out how it works, cause it's not mentioned in the manual, but is on the website.... will feel a bit shafted on this if it doesn't work!

Hi Just wondering where people in Lupos are putting their ipods or affixing cradles... at the moment i have an ipod converter that plugs into the back of my sony radio and the wire runs through the 'vents' in the tray under the radio and my ipod sits in there... which is fine... but just wondered if anyone has any other ideas as I can't think of anywhere to put a cradle

I fitted mine this evening. The screws that were in the handle were used, there wasnt that much of a difference between the thickness of the holder and the handle (about 1mm). Mine doesnt spring back up, but it does stay up when placed up and down when open... not so much of a big deal. If i screwed the right one in first (the one with the spring) the screws seemed to go right in fine, but the other way round they didnt. Took a hacksaw to the little knobbly bits next to the screws. Looks good.

At the end of the month I'm gonna buy a TOAD alarm system which will hopefully add not only an alarm but remote central locking - it has cental but im lazy and want remote - to the car (my dad's one of those very very nice men....handy to have around) just wondered if theres anything we should be aware of with the wiring or anything? Also as an afterthought if anyone knows if this will enable the feature of auto-locking/unlocking the doors when setting off and stopping as it added this when he put it on his mazda? TIA

Waiting for mine to be delivered, a simple mod but the handle that's there is useless anyway... if ur holding the handle and not the steering wheel there's gotta be something wrong there... wonder why VW thought to put one there?

Will putting bigger wheels on a lupo have any affect on the speedo? looking at putting a set of 15" on. TIA

This is a really simple question but i've just got my lupo and wanted to know... how do you remove the gear knob to fit an after market one? TIA
