  1. 10amp fuse is correct tried a 30amp just as a quick fix so it would pass MOT......blew that aswell!
  2. i have a 2002 lupo gti, when putting my headlamps on full beam it blows the fuse to the nearside headlamp any ideas what the fault could be? cheers

    i have always used kw on all my cars last car had genuine jwrc dynamic dampers so coilover quality and ride was expected to be lower/poorer

    thats what i heard....until i tried them! the ride is way to firm, i am around 60mm lower than standard the the ride is hard,i would go as far as uncomfortable am planning on raising the suspension up,if this does not help i will change the spring rates to suit my style
  5. does the basic lupo model coilovers fit the gti after kw v3s or clubsports but all dealers i have asked do not know thanks
  6. have you had experience of v3s? aint bothered too much on cost but want something that will perform and last as i do plan a nice engine transplant over the winter months other option was the clubsport items with alloy spherical top mounts also made by kw?...more for track as there where set up for the ring but maybe a bit much for occasional road use
  7. anyone had any experience with them where would be the cheapest place to buy them from...have tried the likes of demon tweeks but give little or no discount thanks
  8. any idea of what the rocker cover allen key bolts should be torque to? when i removed it all where different when i checked with torque wrench thanks in advance simon
  9. those calipers where sold off by m-sport there have no dust seals and require a sliding bracket mounted on the hub to work correctly and did i mention there stopped using these on the jwrc fiestas as there stopping differences are poor and drivers reported they had the pump the brake pedal to stop!
  10. i have a lupo gti which was just about to be sold at between 1500 and 2000 rpm the car misfires and hesitates BUT the engine management light comes on,the dash lights dim then all the dash lights come on this does not happen when the car has just started and takes about 5 minutes to begin,if you keep it revved high the car is fine its just when the cars in low rpms in higher gears any ideas? thinking plugs,leads or coilpack just with all the dash lights coming on puzzled me thanks in advance
  11. yeap certain all bolts where removed are the cams held in with the rocker cover or are there fixed in with there own caps like the zetec engine does anyone have any torque figures for the head?
  12. had a slight misfire when hitting around 2000rpm removed cover and plug leads to find one of the plug holes full off oil...am presuming it is leaking from the rocker cover gasket removed all the bolts from the rocker cover but cover would still not come off... can anyone point me in the right direction..does the timing belt have to be removed unfortuanlty i have never stripped down a lupo gti engine and have no haynes manual thanks in advance
