I've just noticed on my new lupo that it has some sort of lacquer (possibly stone chip guard) on the front light some of which has peeled of the remaining stuff has a yellow tinge to it. Tried removing with T-Cut, propanol and nail varnish with no luck. Any ideas?

I had 20 months ban for DUI but the TTC course gets a 25% reduction and also has insurance companies which deal with the course and offers better insurance rates. But i couldnt afford a GTI insurance as im 24 with zero no claims i would be looking at £2500 with a DR10 on my licence. A sport is going to set me back £1280 a year fully comp style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> I personaly wouldnt keep the car as it would annoy me to not be able to drive the thing.

Hi, A similar thing happened to me when one of my friends got a beating in the street, when he ran they set on my car at the time smashed the wind screen etc. In the panic and because my window was smashed i couldnt see so ran this idiots girl friend down (she was actually stamping my mates head with a stilleto prior to that). Luckily they ran off any way but the police will be on your side mate its an accident pure and simple and the fact you got attacked will help so mention it as soon as you can. You can go to the station and make a witness statement with your girl friend. Hope you didnt get to badly injured mate.
