Not many of you will probably remember me as I only ever posted a few times but back in 2012 I had a blupo in jazz blue. I then sold that for a mk4 golf, then that for a BMW, then that for a polo 9n and now I'm back with a lupo again, so hi again!
-
Saw a red lupo sport with red wheels, polished lip, I think it was stock height and had chrome things around the taillights, interested to know what wheels they were though
-
Always see this about, I think it's a custom colour but not 100% sure :3
-
I passed it coming back from big tescos, just past Wrenn so you could be right as they were heading that way
-
I only saw for a second but it looked so nice, slammed, numberplate was on the passenger side of the front bumper so I presume front was smoothed, I would presume you would be on here
-
I always saw it as I went down High street down one of the turnings The red lip on black wheels was how I knew it was yours so what wheels are you putting on now?
-
Daniel, I've seen your Lupo so many times, looks so nice! & my Dad's side of the family lives down Hemel, so i'm down quite often ^-^

Lupo won't start, turns over, help?
Marts replied to Marts's topic in Car Care, Maintenance and Mechanical
Quick update, I got the car working! Was a blown fuse, I put 2 more fuses and it blew instantly, so I've got a 20 in slot 40 instead of a 15 now and it didn't blow, it started, fun times! -

I think it may be the fuel pump, even though I can hear it from the front, I can't hear it from the back under the backseats (not that I've never noticed it in the back truthfully), do lupo's have fuel cut off switches? -

Nope, doesn't cut out, it'll turn over forever (well until battery dies) if i let it -

That's fine & as for the fuel pump being extra loud, I don't think so, sounds the same as normal, the car was working perfect Tuesday and hasn't been touched so no idea -

Well i've had the car since August and i've never changed the battery, no idea if previous owner did. It still turns over though, so doesn't that mean that the battery still has power though? -
Basically I haven't been out in my car since Tuesday, went to start it last night and just wouldn't start, thought it may be no fuel (even though tank read 1/4) so waited until this morning to go get a petrol can and petrol, now the tank is on 1/2 and still not starting, also changed the oil as well, I can hear the fuel pump when turning ignition on as well, has anyone experienced this or knows what this could be? thanks!

You want to flat them down, as the paint needs something to stick to. How much you flat them down is up to you though -I only sprayed my steelies so I didn't bother about getting the scratches out These are mine, all I done was flat down with 600gpi wet & dry I think it was then went up to 1200, washed dirt of & sprayed, I also done in cold weather which I don't really recommend but they didn't come out too bad
-
I like, in the first picture it looks more jazz blue then soft blue though & is that front vw badge chrome?
-
, that's only down the road from me, I don't know any one from around here with a red one though :c Was it bad?
-
Do you think a caramel wheel could work?
-
Ah! & cheers man, I appreciate it!
-
That would be the one I would get, what's the sound like? Do you think you could get a video buddy?
-
I've done a search, a lot of topics about these but couldn't find a video of what one sounds like on here or on youtube, so does anyone have a video? :3
-
I tried hairdyer as that's what I got it off of in the first place, but it just doesn't wanna come off, my Dad said it was like superglue but then even thinners didn't do a thing, it's hard to explain what it's like though, feels like plastic
-
I've tried sticky stuff removed, paint thinners and petrol, I was using an old debit card to scrape the stuff off, it bent and snapped that, it's solid :c
-
Basically I was debadging the loop & I got the lupo off fine, but when I tried to get the 1.4 off, i'm stuck with this solid (which I think may be glue) layer, I've tried everything on it and nothing seems to work, anyone had an experience like this and knows what to do? cheers!

wow, that's a coincedence haha, looks so nice though, I just wondered if it was possible to get a grill like that but if it's a GTi i guess not :c
-
I know there's a lot of threads on here with that title but what i mean is this.. Not too sure who's this is, just saw it when browsing the site but what has the guy done to make it look like this? I love the grill (anyone has any idea what it is?) and I think the bumper is the rieger one, I just think overall it looks so tidy
