  9. Hi all, just wanted to know what size I need to buy to de-wiper the rear of my lupo? Thanks Jake
  10. think my clutch is on its way out. Car is at 107,000miles now. The pedals really stiff and it bites really high.
  11. how much are they then, if you dont mind me asking?
  12. this is pretty much sorted now, got one off penry on here, but it was slightly damaged, so siliconed that bit and havent had chance to check it since to make sure its sealing properly. if not I'll just get one from a lupo i know of in the local scrapyard. VW want about £45+ VAT I think it was just for the seal! luckily its been pretty dry lately!
  13. Saw it parked on the seafront, opposite Ask. lowered, tints i think, and some big writing up the side. Cant really remember too much about it! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="confused.gif" />
  14. I'll do it. It just pulls straight off, then push the new one on. I've heard they're pretty expensive so I have a mate who has a spare one, I'll probably use that. It's pretty new.
  15. Stupid as it is....looks like its just a worn seal! Will be replaced sometime this week!
  16. cheers boss, I'll give it a go tomorrow if i get chance.
  17. Anyone know how? Or is it easy enough that I'll notice as soon as I take a look. Cant really look tonight now, its getting too dark.
  18. Ok, today, I removed the panel on the inside of the boot. My bro hosed water at my boot for me to see how it was getting into my bootlid. There seems to be a bit leakin in through the lock. Loads of water seemed to be coming into the bootlid when he was aiming the house onto the ledge on the back bumper. So it seems like the water is going under the bootlid, and up into the drainage holes. Does this mean my boot is not sealing correctly at the bottom? I think it's possible to adjust how far the boot comes in before its held shut by the lock isnt there?
  19. £200-£250, was that for the manifold on its own?

    South Wales Meet?

no chance then haha. prob best to leave it to the week after or something then. But I'm pretty sure I'm away the week after new years. Can check for sure what about the 17th decemeber? or too soon?
  21. Went to VW today, and got someone to have a look and give me advice. He said that from fitting aftermarket speakers, I've probably damaged the foam stuff you have between the door and doorcard. When I had my doorcard off it looked like water had been gettin through where the foam was sealed to the door on the bottom part. Over the weekend, I'm gonna remove it, and make my own thing, using a some vinyl stuff, and some silycone to seal it. I'll also strip all the interior out and see if this solves my problem.
  22. Mine did this too the other day, took it to my mate who works at a garage. He said its most likely to be lambda probe, temp sender or throttle valve. We plugged it in, and 5 faults came up. Not sure on them all, but throttle valve was there. They wiped all the codes and I haven't had a problem since, which is strange. I'm just waiting for it to happen again.
  23. Ok the lock on my boot is pretty wrecked. It looks all corroded. Today I had a look and the water seems to be getting in through here. Also perhaps around one side of the door handle. I think I know of a spare lock I can get so will try get this changed ASAP. Anyone know if it's a hard job? My rear washer also leaks. I haven't looked at this too much because I never use my rear washer anyway, so I'm assuming it's not going to affect if I dont use it. When I do press the rear washer though, barely any comes out where it should by the rear wiper, the majority leaks inside the boot! Also looks like I'm suffering from a leak the same as the guy in VW Lupo section, topic called something like "One very wet lupo". It seems to be coming through at the bottom of my lower doorcard by the screws. I'll read up on this and try to see how I can solve this problem too!
