Yeah they were polished when I got them but not very well. They'd been done on a machine so were very ripply. Steve gave them a touch up for me and they came up well!

Just thought I'd post a few pics with the wheels on. I've had them on about 4 weeks I think but never got round to getting photos up. Wheels are also now off as the cars up for sale! Wheels are also for sale but haven't done a for sale thread yet. You're in the wrong place there I think mate. Thats up under the bottom half of the dash. You need to take off the bonnet release handle and the plastic part the handle is over. Once the handle is off, there's one phillips screw holding it on then it just slides towards the front of the car I think it is. The brown and blue blocks are behind there.

I wouldnt follow that just yet. Wait for someone to reply cos mine isn't locking for some reason!

Hi all, Below is how I have everything connected in the car at the moment, however, I have a couple of problems that I'm hoping someone can help with. I have the KE60 kit by the way. RCL 1. - Orange - Left on its own (unconnected) RCL 2. - White - brown block, grey/yellow RCL 3. - Yellow - Earthed with black and yellow/black RCL 4. - Orange/black - Left on its own (unconnected) RCL 5. - White/black - brown block, blue/violet RCL 6. - Yellow/black - Earthed with black and yellow RCL 7. - Black - Earthed with yellow and yellow/black RCL 8. - Red/black - Left on its own (unconnected) RCL 9. - Red - brown block, blue yellow (permanent feed) RCL 10. - Pink - Left on its own (unconnected) RCL 11. - Brown - black/white steering column RCL 12. - Brown - black/green steering column RCL 13. - Green - Left on its own (unconnected) The car unlocks with the remote and the hazard lights flash correctly. When I press the lock button, the hazard lights flash, but it doesn't lock the car. Does anyone know what I've done wrong? Also was hoping someone could tell me what to connect where to get the windows roll up working. Thanks in advance Jake

yeah, when you turn the key to unlock the door, if you hold it turned it opens the windows. Does on anythin with central locking i think

Hi all, when you unlock your door, if you hold the key down, the windows go down as I'm sure you all know. However, mine dont go back up when I lock the car. Anyone know what this could be? because I'm looking at getting a remote central locking kit which is total closure and I want it all to work when I get it. Cheers Jake

A few people have told me theyve seen this now....I've only seen it once, and didnt get a good look!

My drivers one is terrible! and the passenger one, the bolt snapped where it goes into the nut (where the thread of the bolt is) So not sure if mine will be a straight swap with that one

I've got the same problem. I asked about it ages ago and I was told the heater resistor pack too. It really does my head in but never got round to doin it as I dont know what it is to remove it and get one from the scrap yard! Anyone got a pic of one by any chance? And a pic of a passenger footwell to show where its located? Jake

Don't think I'm gonna bother tinting them. I think they'll look good once they're all cleaned up, nice and shiny! Will have a look at the weekend if I get chance. You home for the weekend penry? Hi, my front indicators have somehow got dirt in them, so I want to take them off, seperate them and clean them up. Can anyone give me a rough guide on removing them please? Cant see any obvious screws or anything. Cheers Jake

When I turn my music up loud, sometimes after time, my left tweeter will go off. You can notice it as soon as it goes off. Then if you turn the music down and back up its on again. But if you turn it up loud again, it sometimes goes off again. I've got rainbow components in there. Anyone got any idea what this could be? Jake

Pretty sure the dash is different. Late spec ones have the hazard light switch inbetween the two air vents whereas the older ones have it under the heating controls by the rear window demister. Mines up the top and is a late code, AUB Hope that helps Jake

that arosas wicked. What offset are the 9s? Any rubbin? Looks pretty low too at the back, you still got the adjusters in?

Yeah was a girl driving it. Ah right, as I say didn't get a great look at it. mostly in my mirror, so noticed the colour coded bumper and must of assumed. Think she noticed my car too though lol

Pretty sure it was a GTI. didn't get the best look at it. Badboy bonnet, single oval aftermarket exhaust. Didnt notice much else about it really. I was in my black sport, under the bridge by gowerton rugby club Jake

How much do VW charge to swap the chip? or can you do it yourself?

Definately worth giving a go!
