so me and my mate were out in town on friday and an octavia taxi decided to drive through my mates back end and wrote his car off (one less pug) so im driving him 130 miles to go and fetch a lupo for him its a 1.4 16v twin of my car so if you see us on the A1 on Saturday some time give us a wave

im ages away from any meets not many lupos near me so don't see many and when i do i spend ages trying to find a build thread was thinking would be easier to search a user name than putting a spotted topic up with no reply's

mine was £1167 with admiral when i called up and started 2 days before my 18th

why not have user name stickers on rear window so people can find you easier if they want to talk about your car ???

hi just a quick question can you fit a lupo or a mk2 afosa front end to a mk1 arosa asking because my friend had his car wrote off (thanks taxi driver) and needs a car asap and an arosa has come up cheep but he dosnt like the front end :/ any help would be nice thanks guys and gals

yehhh i had my 15" on when i got her but looked like she was on stilts so 13" it is wheels did catch allot when i had 2 or more passengers probs going to get the polo wheels banded to 7j front - 8j rear

i got them for 11.72+ vat each getting a cv joint for 19 + vat

4 polo 13" steelies and 4 15" alloys with tires sat next to my bed and set of headlights and headrests in my wardrobe safe to say mother isnt happy with me

so i knew i had an iffy front wheel bearing when i got my car back in august but due to cost i didn't replace it but gradually its got worse and worse then i hit a pot hole and then i could hear it over my music at volume 55 my speakers clip at 58 sub cuts out at 59 so yehh was very very loud and could feel it in pedals and was snatching the steering so i got the wheel bearing and after about an hour trying to get the c clip out then another 40 min pressing the old shell out this is what was making the noise so yehh got my moneys worth out of it just got the other side to do but have got to do a CVjoint at the same time so postponed that till later in the week

this is the best pic i could get to show what i painting its an absolute arse to rough the chrome up round the little lines ready for primer just hope it looks good and yehh 3 of my shockers have gone with the 50ish drop :') so its got to be coillovers next

yehhh mine is just on springs atm dont know exactly what they are as were on loopy when i got her there yellow ? iv only seen 1 set that was yellow and that was a 45-55mm set i could be colour coding my headlights got my spare pair striped and primed just got to get black or yellow (LD1B) paint

il 2nd that. WHY ??? and i have found that that is the best one to use as others get caught on the head annoying as **** when u got collets dropping out :'(

nahhhh not funn at all 30 mph spin in to a tree at 2am with no phone mine catches in mcdonalds not any speed bumps yet tho will do when i get coillovers

one note on lowering it dont try and get in a field. i had to walk 2 mile home to get my dad to pull me out, touching all under the car in mud and dont pull up to curbs close mine touches and thanks to a previous crash pulls the lower bumper off not good in a car park :'(

my car is lowered aprox 45-55mm only scrape on tall curbs when im well on the path i live out in the sticks only problem iv found with it is my little 13" wheels fit very well in pot holes :/ so taking her off the stilts wont make it useless just look a lot better for it

no just hit it at 30 was as halfway throo spinning my car so was like a bounce off the tree and continue spinning, no airbags or nothing ohh and it bent my rad smashed the rad fan Fked the slam panel and pushed the crash panel to touch the rad poped the bumper off and pulled both wheel arch lining's out and broke all 3 lugs off both headlights :') and broke both ends and middle of the indicator panel and grille worst of all tho i scratched the VW badge :'( 5 hours the next day straitening crash panel up with a 10 ton press and a pack of cable ties it fitted again
