  1. Still some more cleaning to do once iv removed the engine cover but still it's looking good first clean in 4 years because last owner didn't clean it
  2. So what's the best way, I've seen many guides online about this subject. Some say a warm. Engine, some say cold, some hot and some say keep it running. What's the right/best way? I've also read about keeping the alternator covered with a bag, ? brush then using a low power water source like a hosepipe on low to rinse over. After its dry then apply protector spray? So what's the best way? It's a petrol 1.0 seat arosa Any ideas please,
  3. I'm wanting to polish the seat but I have a few scratches and awful swirls that I just can not get rid of. So the question is what is your technique and products you use. Basically I'm wanting instruction on how to go about this from washing all the way to waxing lol have a shiny scratch free car.
  4. Bad comments lol ^^^ its the pads you use and the pressure you apply to the machine polisher that burns the Laquir off I work with respray's and we polish them after with a rotary machine polisher if you go in like a bull in a chiner shop and dont take your time then your going to course paint damage. You don't need to apply pressure at all just glid it along the paint work when you see that it's shiny move on to the other bits. There's only a certen amount of shine your going to get on a car no matter how many times you polish a panel it's not about the price of the machine it's the speed of which it turns and the technique you use to polish it.
  5. Seems the previous owner has scratched all the plastics and its just got worse inside the little arosa n it looks awful can I sand them down ? and what sandpaper do I use? and what paint to respray ? I'm also wanting to cover the painted yellow bits ( as you can see in the pics) what can I use I saw someone had done it on here but I can't find the thread. Here are the pics The scratched handle The yellow painted interior

  7. Hey so i drive a seat arosa there not really the warmest of cars the cars really cold when i get in it and the seats seem to keep getting damp until i put the heaters on then it warms up but soon as the heats are off it drops cold and the smell of damp is begging to come really bad i don't think the standard carpet is much cop ( good) also as i have a loud exhaust it makes a humming noise inside the car really loud the gf is starting to complain hahaha it gives her headache and as i have a child on the way i want to be able to take him out in it without making him feel like he's in a humming machine and making him ill so my question is is Is there some sort of car insulation that i can put in to keep the car warm to reasonable amount when car engines off and reduce outside noise ?
  8. So i have changed the tires from the originals and don't have my car manual so how do I know what psi my tire pressure has to be on these tires ? I have looked on the tire walls n it doesn't say
  9. Haha lets have this right. You take a look in a arosa. 1) there more compacked feel nicer to drive 2) the steering wheels more chunky feels like you actually have control of the car 3) the dash has more shape to it. Lupo 1) feels like you sat in a trailer makes you feel unsafe 2) steering wheel theres nothing to it feels like the steering wheels there but not connected 3) dash looks like its just been put in no shape just stuck there Lupo was made after the arosa no thought gone in to the model or the make at all just thrown together lol
