  1. Just in case anyone else buys them, the white halfords clips are too large for the holes in the door =/ gonna have to get them from the dealership
  2. Those wheels are fantastic! Love the throwback all black centres with the silver logo Wouldn't mind a set of those myself. Great car buddy
  3. Hah well if it has then I haven't de-badged it But I am planning that too ready for the DA polish
  4. Finally an update! Haven't really done anything since last summer except spend a fortune on servicing, MOT, insurance and various other mechanical fixes all within the last month However, I kicked my ass into gear and fitted the pressed plates. Had to take a pliers to the old rusty screws to get them out but got there in the end. Here's how it looks at the moment... Front Rear Apologies for the poor quality, just snapped them quickly on my tablet. I'm not too fond of the surrounds to be honest, don't feel like they suit the car at all, not to mention the front one is slightly larger than the recess where the plate sits. Might remove the surrounds and use some adhesive tape directly on to the plates. The curve in the bumper makes this a pain though. I actually washed her a few days ago but because of the lovely dry weather we've been getting, there's dust over the whole car, so going to have to keep on top of that now that the weather is fine. Im hoping to buy my first DA in a few weeks too and give her a machine polish to remove all of the swirls and those damn holograms on the bonnet. Also have the central locking kit to fit which I tested the other day and all was well, so now to just remove the door cards and get it fitted. Removing the drivers side is going to be a bitch because the top screw on the door handle didn't want to come out the last time I tried so may have to use some brute force to remove that one. Hopefully more to come soon!
  5. Cheers guys @briaan65 - Thanks buddy but it wouldn't be worth the hassle you posting them I need quite a few anyone so I'll just buy them all together, thanks for the offer though!
  6. Does anyone know where I can find the clips for reattaching the door cards? I'll be removing mine soon to fit central locking and last time I took them off they all snapped -.- Cheers!
  7. Ah wasn't sure if the whole tray needed to come out Thanks for clearing that up!
  8. Yeah I still haven't fitted my kit yet as I can't figure this out Don't need those other features either
  9. This is quite useful as I'm a broke student so every penny saved is a bonus
  10. Using Safari is good enough for me, the forum's mobile version works better than any app would
  11. Hah yeah I'm really not looking forward to that bit might chicken out and use two pieces so I don't have to stretch it. Just finished doing the headliner and fitted it back in. Gonna put up a How To soon as I couldn't find any decent resources with images instructing how to remove all the various bits properly... Back in the car (cheated with photoshop as the lighting today is dire...)... Up close... Not sure whether the dark grey interior bits would look okey with the new trim or whether to hunt down some kind of purple spray to match the material... hmm...
  12. Hah thanks, that part is actually a pain in the ass to use as a first attempt, because the curve in the shape and the fact is also curves back towards the body as well meant that the fabric just refused to stretch and stick, but meh... it looks good enough for the back of the car Can't wait to get the headliner done, should really start to transform the interior!
  13. The artwork looks epic, you should make a full scene all over the dash
  14. Haven't really done anything in a while, just been finishing off Uni and getting her dirty Finally got around to fitting the rear badge... Also got bored one day and sprayed the passenger mirror cover. It will need polishing as I over did the lacquer and it's a bit orange peel-y... Bought some number plate surrounds to go with the pressed plates. The plan is to stick the surrounds on instead of drilling more holes as the current screw are rusted to **** and will probably be drilled out, and I don't want to go making holes in the new plates... Decided to re-trim as much of the interior as I can with aubergine material, so did a tester on the passenger C pillar. The photo is a bit crap because the sun was bright out and wasn't shining inside the car Looks good in RL though... And finally, had my Silverstone F1 tickets through the post Cant wait! More re-trimming to come soon hopefully!
  15. Hi guys, I'm trying to figure out how to get the switches out of the centre console - the hazard and rear window heater on my car. It's an early model so they are on the bottom of the top section (not down by the cigarette lighter in the later models). The blanks pull off easily but do the actual switches pull out as I'm having a hard time trying to pull them out and I don't want to be too aggressive in case I snap something xD Thanks for any help!
  16. Just found this thread, very sweet loop! Although I can't help but feel the dash needs some kind of makeover to really complete the interior Keep up the good work - followed!
  17. Cool I'll have to check it out cheers guys
  18. I don't think it's that difficult, wrapped a few small parts myself. Make sure you use a source of heat (a heat gun is preferable) and don't stretch it too far. Work from the center out so you avoid any air bubbles. If you do get a little one, you can make a little hole with a pin to let the air out and then flatten the vinyl. I think you should start on the flat surface and stretch the vinyl around any corners. I've seen some light lubrication used for getting the positioning right an then squeegeed out from the center but not sure how common that is.
  19. I've had a look but can't see anything larger than 1m squared :/
  20. I'm after a large sheet of gloss black 3m vinyl to cover my loops roof, so 200cm x 100cm? I've searched ol' google but no luck so far!
  21. They look pretty cool, wouldn't mind them on my car instead of the faded black (grey) pillars
  22. He is still selling them, had a PM earlier
  23. Four That link doesn't have gold ones
