well been to look at it and to be fair it wasnt that bad. it was quite funky colour wasnt quite white and wasnt quite green somewhere in the middle. it was a little roof around the edges, o/s wing was rusty and there was a chip on roof above the windscreen which had gone rusty. but it drove well and didnt smoke or out! everything worked and all the door/boot shuts looked pretty good. just checked it on "itextcheck" and its come back a cat C. so wont be getting it! should have done that first really would have saved myself a journey! but went to trafford on the way back anyway. safe to say, i fookin hate shopping and the trafford centre but Tyler got some new cars from the disney store so he was happy

yo can tint any headlights you want! i wouldnt bother splitting them though just bang some tint on there. try some lamin-x. stuff's spot on!

cheers Olivia/Rosie (guess Rosie is your arosa), do you know of any known faulst problem areas to look out for though? its a TDi, so 1.4 diesel 3 cyclinder. yeahi would prefer a lupo but this one has come up and its local ish and cheap.

i seen and arosa TDi local to me that i intend to go and look at and its failry cheap, never having an arosa or lupo just wondered what advice you guys could give me on what to check or look out for? the only bad thing is that its 90k with no history but tbh that doesnt really bother that much cheers Si.

is "3L" just the TDi version or are they different to the TDi's?

try a company called greenlight really cheap but you can only do online quotes which you have to wait for a reply for but far cheaper than others such as brentache

ive heard that the the arosa does not suffer from the rust at the front of the gutter/screen area because they dont have the aluminium ends like the lupos do. is the right or are they both the same?

tbh im not to sure how wide the adaptors are i would guess there around 25mm, i'll have to check the receipts. ive got the offset for the 9's wrote down somewhere i'll have to find it. the 7's and 8's not sure would have to get them off and check

what sort of effort is it to fit D90's to a lupo/arosa. ive got some 7j for the fronts and 8j for the rear, ive also got some 9j's. got 4x100 adaptors also. to make them fit would you have to roll the arches or 'out. if it was lowered how low can you go with it? Si.

is the gti whole car wider than other models? that sounds like a right old lot of fookin about to make it fit and prob not worth the hassle

there like buses! had another one in today. bright green one think it was a petrol didnt really get chance to look at it

i work for a scrap metal company, they used to have a breakers yard but closed the gates about two months ago but we still take cars in for scrap, de-pollute them and stick them in the baler! yeah not many lupos come in for scrap. but this one was pretty battered.

cheers for that jon. thats the kinda stuff i wanna know. i had a look around an arosa today. it was a 1L petrol, i wasnt looking to buy it, its a member from another forum i go on. it looked pretty good, lowered on coilovers and G60 steels. im kinda liking the front ends a little more now. whats the interior difference from the lupo to the seat? leccy windows, mirrors etc. it had a n/s mirror that was smaller than the o/s mirror, is this normal? i also drove a lhd 1.4 tdi today which was a little odd. didnt get much distance in it as it came into work as scrap but i was suprised at how big it was from the front seats forward. the back seats arent massive but look big enough. and the boot is well...not very big at all! but thats not a massive prob.. one thing i did do though is get the back lights off incase i get the seat variant as the seat one's are guff!

im doing 285 miles ever two weeks which is costing me £65-£70, so those figures loopsound pretty good to me.

whats the difference between the gti front end and other models? is it just bumper wings and grille? i know the back bumpers are different but are the rest of the panels the same?

thats not even broken in yet the G has done 212K and still going strong! how big are the tanks out of interest, are you filling it up every 5 mins or do you get a good few miles out on it? also loop, liking the front bumper/grille combo you've got going on there too.

think i need to have a go in one see what there like! keep looking at them and they keep growing on me. just looking at some of the photos of members cars. theres a few proper nice lookers about
