So from browsing the Readers Rides im now thinking of having my wheels painted, giving me a change with out forking out on new alloys! can some of you guys give me tips? Im not looking to do it myself, im way too fussy and if i did'nt get it perfect Id be pissed. Easyer to have a professional do it right for me! Any reccomendations of a service you used? If any are based near Bedfordshire or Manchester would be a bonus. Plus some idea of price would be helpful. Is powdercoating or Spray painting the way to go? I realise the centre caps will have to be sprayed to match if i have them powdercoated, all your comments are appreciated. Cheers.

That rear Wiper is Cracking! Where do i find one of those, if you dont mind helping me out? Is it a direct replacement? My rear wiper doesn't catch the whole of the rear screen either, would be a nice upgrade. Any help is appreciated. Your Lupo is looking well polished their! Nice.

So I’m looking to get my Lupo GTi lowered in the next couple of weeks and having some issues over how to do it and how low to go. I see from searching the topics and checking out your Readers Rides that the majorities are on Coilies or Spring and Shock combos, but here’s my dilemma. I know I’m not going to go for adjustable coilovers as I want my ride height to be set or al be forever fu**ing around with it, so:... 1. Koni Suspension kit 30-35mm lowering: But for this height drop won’t I get the same visual lowering by just opting for 30mm Eibach springs? 2. H&R Sport Cup Kit doing a 50(f) and 30® Suspension kit, which you lot seem to rate well; but for this I have read that camber adjustment may be required? (from this link http://www.performancealloys.com/loweringkits_springs.asp ) What’s your opinion and any one got pix of a Lupo GTi with the Koni/ H&R/ Eibach set up? Is 50mm lowering going to cause me problems with speed bumps? Your helps appreciated and sorry if I’m asking questions that have been answered some where else, cheers.

Thanks for the pix! I have been looking into a 30mm drop (Koni suspension kit) but dont think al be entirely happy, been paining over this decision for an age and if i dont do it 60 i think al be a bit gutted......Preparing to take the 60mm plunge!

Any chance you could post some before and after pics of a simple side profile so i can review the drop? Looking to lower my Lupo on a sports suspension kit but have been round the houses in my head trying to make up my mind on the hight and make to go for!? Would be nice to see pal.

Saw a clean Silver Lupo GTi on the way into work this morning. KL51 *** The new Bedford roundabout off the A421, Driver must have been 55+ Driving and smoking a pipe! Nice ride pal, I would be proud if my granddad drove a GTi! (Note: if this was you and you’re not 55+, my apologies!)
