whats the difference between hard and soft? im guessing poor boys is a soft wax? but I'll be getting that auto finesse tripple looks good.

Looking for some new wax for my raven blue gti iv been using poorboys which is good but im wanting something else can anyone recommend a wax thats worth a go?

possible micro switch problem have exactly the same issue but it dosnt bother me

that seems pretty step for a gti, don't get me wrong its a F**king lovely but not 7 and a half grand picked up my gti for 4grand with less miles

my gear box on my sport went at about 89k the diff decided it wanted to follow other career aspects, but my gti is at 89k and still feels amazing safe to say they got it right (thankfully) on the gti

if people haven't seen my thread about my GTI power lose iv found this thread within clublupo http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?/topic/73602-lupo-battery-drain-ideas/?hl I seem to be having the issues too and from the read of the thread its going to be my ccm that draining my battery power, does any one on here know how much vw would charge to get a new unit in get it fitted and re-programme my key fob?

an update: went back to my car tonight after a 9hour shift and the batterys dead, put the multimeter on it and it was reading 11v which isn't enough clearly to get the car started (read up it needs 12.2v min to kick the engine over) put the jump pack on fired right up read on the net that 'start the vehicle, turn on the head lights, and rev the engine to 2,000rpm this will draw power on your battery' and 'the voltage should go to at least 13v (which it did) if varying the RPMs cause the voltage to fluctuate between 13v and 14.5v, your alternator is in good shape; if, on the other hand, the voltage remains the same or decreases, your alternator isn't working properly' once I did rev the engine the multimeter read 13.79 and went to 13.80 then back to 13.79 so didn't really fluctuate between 13v-14.5v? so possible alternator?

No havnt got a multimeter but if i got my hands on one what would i be looking for? Im assuming its the alternator isnt kick out enough to fully charge the battery, nothings been added recently, its fine for a couple of days and then one day it will just be dead

Having issues with my gti not holding charge on the battery when its not in use, its a brand new battery as it was the first thing i replaced it then last a few days and then il go to turn the engine on and its trys to start but wont (as if the battery is dead), iv tryed leaving the engine running and then disconnecting the battery to see if its possible an alternator issue, but the engine continues too run i have no idea what else it could be, iv had issues with my brake pedal switch any way thats some how draining the power?

got a slight problem with my sump plug hole on my gti, it has been redrilled and rethreaded to take a bigger sump plug and the treads weaker and seems to be slightly leaking (drip here and there) so basically im thinking replace the sump, all I need to know is are all the sumps the same across the lupo range or will only a gti sump fit on a gti? thanks guys and girls

got a reply from autoglym this morning saying: "Thank you for your enquiry. We recommend that the Bird Dropping Wipes are used initially for convenience, but then as soon as you can you should wash the area and reapply any polish or wax to rejuvenate the area Kind Regards" so im assuming this means that they are not wax safe
