  1. Fattasss - That is brilliant. Does go like **** off a shovel? I like the gauge in the middle of the originals too. Looks smart.
  2. This would be class, Rapid would be the term.
  3. I like the exhaust, rolled in look. Would look smart on my Gti.. What make is it do you know??
  4. Very good shout on the Evo. I have looked at them for sure, especially that model. Defo would be a suitable weekend car. Just not sure the insurance will enjoy the purchase... But, I do believe Admiral have been great recently. Might try it, as an Evo is the fastest car for £7-8k. Soooo many choices Also agree on the age of the cars defcon, but I think the Audi would quite smart yet I am after something not as refined, nice cars though. It's a a hard choice... But all the suggestions are great. Appreciate it... As I say, indecisive is a bitch. I think at this point it is German vs Japanese. Which, I love both. Anyone think getting a ST3 and stage 'two or three' would be an idea? Or would that suck for what it's worth...
  5. Hi all, I am 21 in June next year, I'm currently looking at the car market for the next car I would like to buy when I turn 21. Now then.. Basically, I have been looking at several performance based cars. As I currently drive a Lupo GTI, I have loved the car and would like to stay to Volkswagen if I can, but other brands are welcomed. I have 4 years no claims come June. I have had several insurance quotes on some of the cars I am about to list which are feasible amounts IMO. (£1400 - £2200) Budget of £6000 - £7000 (Maybe pushing to dead on 8k) Cars viewed so far - MK4 R32 (first choice) Seat Cupra R 225 BMW 330ci Nissan 350z Audi S3 (not sure on this one, get 100k miler for £6k? Na.) nice though. Focus ST3 Okay, so the situation is .. My head office at work is moving to the city centre of Leeds. So, I shall be getting the train. Which leaves me on the weekends to have a fun car. But I still want luxury .. Not raw like a EP3 type r. I'm thinking of a nice sounding R32 with a miltek. However, they fetch in my price range with little offered. Mpg can be 15 - 30. So, no worry about the above 3 litres. One of the main things I love about my Lupo GTI is they come standard with the xenons which are fantastic. But also the interior styling is great. Hence why the R32 is first choice. Thoughts, advice and opinions please Thank you. Mgti.
  6. 20, 2 years NCB, Fully comp on a Lupo GTI , ''Admiral'' - £750........... It is very do-able.

  10. Hi all, I bought these not so long ago, I was thinking they would be easy to fit. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Golf-MK6-MK5-MK4-Lupo-Phaeton-Scirocco-Polo-LED-License-Number-Plate-Light-L9-/190642420063?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c632c795f#ht_1549wt_952 Anyone know how to get the number plate light housing out of the rear bumper? As i can only get the inner part off (As in where the bulbs are housed) Any chance i can take the black holders out of the bumber to slot these in? Any input would be appreciated.. Many Thanksssssssssssssss - Moloney

  13. Does anyone know how to take that black cover off in the boot? The one with two big black shallow screws? I can take off the two screws but it doesn't pop off? Anyone know what is holding it in place with the screws off? VW's are so complicated..
  14. Hmmm... This is getting tedious now..... I dont understand how ''An easy straight swap'' on the advert means i have to come up with a way to remove the bulb housing, ****s retarded.
  15. Because it is pretty loud..... Lol, My garage is pretty picky... Plus standard for me would also improve my ear healthy on the motorway! lol
  16. if you remove grey hardboard panel on the inside bottom half of your rear door you will see on the back of the grab handle 3/4 small black nuts that need removing, the grab hadle (number plate light housing) will then pull straight off I think this is it....
  17. Yeah, I wonder how the housing comes out.. As i cant see any clear indication of whats keeping them held in? These looks so bright.... Just want them in, Dont fancy snapping the housing uo or something stupid... Hmmm

  19. ERRRRRR... wait a minute lol... How do i get the black bit out? Ive bought LEDS.... not just the bulb?... So i need to unclip the whole cover from the inside but its in pretty tight? How does that work???
  20. SCRATCH THAT!!! JUST HAD A LOOK!!! SCREWS RIGHT OFF... WOW STUPID QUESTION AHAHA! thankyou anyway!
  21. Thanks dude, I know it was a retarded question but knowing me i would end up taking the whole rear bumper off or something lol! How to i get to the screws? Under the the bumper or do i have to go through the boot? At this point i should be looking but just needs a heads up or a warning! cheers..
  22. As title says, How to change numberplate bulbs on a GTI? Anyone know before i do something wrong? Thanks, Lee
