why is it so hard to find a good dealership? even though we pay through the nose for a new car and to service the damn thing service is still crap i have had so many problems with the monkeys at vw i have finally found one which is dane motors in chester who are really good and have a really good customer service.

i am guessing its the mk5 polo you are on about? or the mk6?

yeah i did the release bearing had gone hard therefore putting more pressure on the pedal box and thats why it broke (so the service manager said) so they had to replace the pedal box along with the release bearing so he advised me to have the whole clutch assembly changed whilst the release bearing was beign changed so that i would only have to pay for the 2 plates of the clutch as the warranty covered the labour for fitting the release bearing.

if its not under warranty then it can be welded back its the clutch support which has snapped off the actual pedal box this can be taken out and welded up and will be stronger than it was it will save you about £250 for a new pedal box but fitting it and removing it needs alot of monkey wrenching as the steering column has to come out as well

i have had mine replaced waited 7 weeks for it

wow how did you get them to feature your car? not saying its not worth the feature as it bloody well is as its bloody lovely but did they contact you or did you contact them?
