remap/keep/trade in? Getting near that time again
jiminy replied to Crusoe's topic in Drivers Lounge
http://www.spydercars.co.uk/ford_zetec.htm ive always hated the roadster, but the coupe is a different story, but there are remours of them being re-released with a gearbox style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> you could always go the z-cars route and put a bike engine in, but not exactly a daily driver -
can we put a stop to this talk (i have done the right thing, honestly, i have, really, it was time for a change), car is sold, the guy traded up from a corado vr6 and now im trading down style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> buy the way, first engine went at 129000 and i would not describe it as reliable, i have spent a fortune keeping it on the road but she liked to be driven hard style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

in that case, i recomend jim jeffries they dont use air tools and they have never damaged a wheel good job you noticed
-
very nice, especially the wheels ive never used klay, what do you think? is it agressive? i think the sixth one down is the best, submit to the calender, id vote for it
-
as it says im based in warrington but im willing to travel if anyone can recomend a maindealer that is cheap and reliable for servicing or am i asking way to much style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

the loop gti has a lot to live up to style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ermm:" border="0" alt="ermm.gif" /> 207000 miles
-
the lupo should be about a second quicker, the polo is quite lardy, just look at the power-weight ratio the polo is not an inferior car, but it is different and better in some ways, it depends what you want from a car
-
i stand corrected, i didn't realise petrol weighted 30% less than water. ive just realised i dont really like this thread style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> (doing this to a tdi would be an interesting, but priccy propersition) that letstorquebhp is a great site, acording to that, the lupo gti is halfway between the mk2 8v and the 16v performance wise (at least on the quarter-mile)
-
im going to cry
-
im liking your car, whats the handling like now wont a full tank of petrol weight somewhere near 34kg not 25kg
-
are you sure they were interested in your plate, or the loud modified speeding car driven by a young male coming the other way (i dont know how accurate that description is but you get the point) my dad was in a convoy of cobras driven by mature couples, one was pulled over and the anal retentive brought out his ruler and fined the guy for having letters marginally to short. life is too short to give the police any more of an excuse than is needed to pull you over
-
try motorsportwheels, i found them cheap for my bbs wheels with great service
-
matalic black (the best colour) and its going for £1500 but i may well come to regret selling it
-

thats the spec i want, ive found 1 that meets the criterior and had a spin round brunters in it, where it didnt feel as quick as the 170ish bhp per ton sugests and it has a crap gearchange. it is also older than i am but georgous and good to drive but it has the same problem as the smart roadster (you cant put roofracks on) you could beg vw to make the ecoracer, good luck -
border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> i was taking photos of my car so i could sell it and i thought i would see how easy it is to post pics

are they as good as jim jeffreys in warrington, car looks great

so basically you want a golf sized rear wheel drive car thats fairly quick, 0-60 in under 6.5 and does not depreciate to quickly? -
