I posted up recently that my gti was juddering under excelleration from about 60mph + Today I checked that the HT leads were all snug & also found this pipe to be possibly worn from the engine cover clip, i didnt remove the tape as I wasnt sure what it did. Is it something thats easy to repair/replace, it looks tight down there .. Can anybody advise ?

My Gti judders when on power, but really only in 5th or 6th. If I'm cruising on the m'way @ 60 & boot it, it judder/shakes a little, Oil cap/dip stick are fine. I've only just got it & I'm going to give it the service works & change the plugs & HT's to see if that cures it before going down the coil pack route

Does it have the opening handle ? & if so, what condition is it in, paint wise ?
