In the dash where the clock is in a non gti, should this light up when the lights are on? Mine doesn't and just seems to light up from the rest of the lights shining which means i cant really see it at night, so is this normal or not?

Its all sorted guys! Turns out there was a big pothole and it was a combination of low profile tyres and driveshaft hitting the chassis! Been driving around today and it's been alright so shouldn't be a worry!

As I was driving earlier, turned a corner at about 20mph and heard a big bang, like the sound of metal hitting on something, haven't got a garage or a jack at the girlfriends house so it'll have to wait 'til morning so I can look, does anyone have any idea what it could be so I have a better idea what to look at?

mine are 7j et20 and I had to have stretched tyres and arch rolling and it still scrapes over some big bumps in the road that catch me unaware, et35 should be fine with non-stretched tyres, but arch rolling may be a good precaution anyway!

I struggled with 195/45/15's on 7j's with et20 wheels, dropped down to 165/50's for extra clearance!

I've had a quick search around and not found a lot, but how hard is it to convert a 1.0 to 1.4 sport? I've got the opportunity to buy a lupo sport, but It's yellow and I'd like to keep a black car without the hassle of a respray, a wrap's out of the question because I wanna do that anyway, to orange, but orange outside and yellow inside isn't a good look, so yeah after some advice please I'm fine with changing the rear beam to the one from the sport so I have disks all round, but if its a lot of work (over a weeks worth of solid work) then I won't bother and just wait for my next car...

Mine has the other spoiler shown, and it catches on the aerial and has rubbed the paint off, just letting people know!
