I bought my car in february and paid £1900 for it. It was had a slight front impact, and both airbags have gone off, levaing a pretty nasty looking dash, and a flappy centre in the steering wheel. The car was Cat D'd as a price to repair it all was looking well over 2k! I went to prioce upo the dash, and from vw brand new got a quote of just under 400 quid, and 160 for the wheel. The car drives perfectly, and the only damage to the front of the car which is still obvoius is the dented manifold cover, which looks like its had some beating to try and straighten it out. The front piece between the headlights also doesnt seem to be straight, but may jus be a case of not being fixed on correctly, havent tried removing it yet! Apparently, (dont know for sure as it happend before the previous owner bought it) the car only had a tiny collison head on, and the airbags went off

Not a real film buff so forgive these if there crap but: Payback Face/Off Saw Shrek (both as theyre just amazing) The pianist (think thats what its called, just remember a guy in a wheelchair being thrown of a balcony by nazi soldiers, but remember it was a good film! Another lack of knowledge at the stealers. Went to price up an airbox, and the guy came out to look what airbox was on and reliably infromed me it was an engine transplant, as the lupo doesnt come with a 1.4 16v. He was right in a way though, 'cos there was 2! Fewls!

If this is a 'post your worst injury most' then i feel the need to add these. Playing rugby (so yes, it was self inflicted) and ran, at full pace into the largest bloke on the field. Hit the gorund and my shoulder went "pop"! So after a full 3 minutes on the field and 2 touches off the ball i was carted off to hospital because theyre was only one first aider who didnt feel it was his job to fix my shoulder! 3 hours waitin, morphine jab, and LOTS of gas, and it was sorted. Looking good tigz! So do you think it'd be possible to flock the top half of the dash (the textured part where my airbags gone off) without takin the dash oput or not? Just masking off wents and centre console etc? And would it apply straight to the textured surface or would i need ruibbed down? Going slightly off topic, but I wouldn't say where i live is a 'nice' part of the world. On topic: Found this spot Green-House Effect the full site is in english, so assume its ran by an english guy, but its a hotel, cafe, bar and club! Might not need to leaf the building! Looked at ferrys, planning to drive across, then do a proper road trip straight from amsterdam straight down to france but car ferries take the piss price wise! Seen asthough there would prob be 3 cars, the prices were unbelivable, so cheap return flights (about 100 a piece) look like what were going for!

Im planning a trip to amsterdam in summer, just after my 18th birthday, for a couple of mates and myself, as a bitrhday trip, aswell as a last party before we all go our seperate ways to uni! Just really wondering if anybodys been, and where they would recommend to visit/stop. Read up on the obvious things: Beer, Drugs, Girls, anything else I should know about when planning. Really only looking for a few nights, 2 or 3, after the 13th August, as were planning a road trip to the south of France to one of the lads country house, so obviously moneys got to be put away for that too! Been looking for altenatives, and would i be right in saying a single 4ohm voice coil would be ok with the blaupunkt amp. Just looking at the ARC Audio KAR10 Would that be ok with that balupunkt 2 channel i mentioned earlier? PS. anyone using ARC audio equipment, or any comments about there stuff?

At the bottom of the clock theres a allen bolt at the centre, then to either side, there are buttons that look like allen bolts. The one to the left of the bottom centre changes the hours, the right the minutes! Hope This helps! And Welcome!

Looking round the engine bay the other day, my dad spotted a couple of hoses with nothing on the end. Cant see where there going, but took a few pics, although the most important bits are in shadow! border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> There 2 clear hoses, jus down behind the drivers headlight. Any Ideas?

Looks like RE and Jbl it is then, cars all wired up for an amp and sub setup, so looks like ill be ordering when payday comes around! Now <looking at calender> when is payday...........!

Thanks tigz, how did i know youd be the first to reply........?! Can you recommend any sub to go with that amp then, as i really like the look of the blaupunkt and dont really like the look of the jbl?
