A3 3.2 V6 Sportback - Interior Upgrade 28/10
Mr ColinG replied to Mr ColinG's topic in Member's Cars
Got a little bit more carbon on the B pillars, pulls together with the interior carbon. -
Thanks Ryan, maybe, but might not be me driving, eldest starts driving soon
-
Yes and no, was geting out of hand and I think the only way to stop was to sell it, on the other hand perhaps I should have sorned it and refound the love. Never mind. This one will never be the same level, aint going to show it, only taken it to one Scottish meet this year and its now sorned.

Just away to see if I can get planning permission to extend the garage, I can live out there.

Re-trimmed interior
Mr ColinG replied to Bradley_Kermit's topic in Interior and In-Car Entertainment
Seems very reasonable, would expect to pay £1,200 upwards for leather, be aware. -
Well, its been a wee while since I updated this. Done a few things, now a bit closer to the ground thanks to KW V1 Inox coilovers. Got tyres on the Gottis, so they are now fitted. And the car spent a wee while out at Kirkton getting all the paint bits sorted that were annoyong me. while it was there would have been rude not to get a few subtle mods done. Golf mk6 tailgate handle fitted, dewipered, delocked, stubby drivers mirror, a few gloss black bits. And afew other things.Had a camera battery fail at the weekend so only stolen pics for now, better pics of the detail then I get around to it.

A3 3.2 V6 Sportback - Interior Upgrade 28/10
Mr ColinG replied to Mr ColinG's topic in Member's Cars
Well its been a while, but I have managed not to get fed up and resisted changing anything. Until now that is, been looking for a change of rims, toyed with something aftermarket and probably would have if the right size/ offset had been available, but kept going back to these, found a set newly refurbished and the correct size/ offset, which for the record is 8.5x19 ET48. Boring and a bit predictable perhaps but I think they suit the A3 down to the ground. Photography credit as always to my eldest son. -
The lower the offset the more poke, higher offset means tuck. Should sit pretty well.

Been a wee while, but as summer is coming got the wheels out of storage and repolished ready for tyres. Also finally convinced the wife it needed lowered, set of KW V1 inox now fitted, car is off to the bodyshop to get a few bits tidied up. Pics once the wheels are on.

Aye Ryan, just been catching up, some boy, awesome
-
About £300 upwards
-
Still got it Ray, just embarrassed of it due to the ride height. Might do something with it this year.
-
Cause they had no taste. I would say £4k - £4.5k, miles will put people off unfortunately, shame cause it looks mint in your pics. If you want we could do a deal for your leather interior, I have a mint standard cloth in my GTI, cash your way...

Looks fantastic, in THE best colour.
-
Welcome, Lupo GTI wheels will fit straight on
-
Very tidy Kam, worth the effort. Did you get the tailgate to work.

Yawn. This car has been on the go for years, I actually used the same trimmer to do my interior the quality was faultless. Car aint to my taste but the workmanship was spot on.
