  1. Is it a vw? Cause that reg is not found when searching the DVLA Online vehicle check. Could have had a plate change though if it is a dub.
  2. No they are not connected but both actions are put into use on the same switch. Think about it. Well thats exactly how mine started in the first place then it got Progressively worse like the wipers would'nt stop after switching off, they would come on when the stalk was'nt touched, washer jets would come on inc headlights (if on) when switching the wipers on, a real headache!!!
  3. For anyone who has got or gets this Irratic wash and wiper problem in the future, I fitted a new Wiper stalk/switch today and it has cured the problem. I'm soo chuffed cause its been pi..ing me off for months. Tried the relay route first and access to that was a pain in the ass, only to find it not faulty.
  4. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> Sorry to bring this one up again but has anyone replaced a stalk, does the steering wheel have to be removed? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
  5. I need to change my wiper relay, cause I'm pretty sure its on its way out. Which one behind the fusebox is it and do you need to remove the base of the steering column cowel and the panel surrounding the fusebox to remove and replace it. Also can a programable relay be fitted like on a passat. Has anyone done this?? Hope someone can help.
  6. Nightmare, I've just got exactly the same problem, Can be driving along and the headlight washers and rear wipe come on all by themselves style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="confused.gif" /> Has anyone out there sorted this problem before as it is really annoying. If it is the stalk thats at fault are they expensive to replace?
  7. Excellent, Thanks Joe, Yet again you surpassed yourself. Dave. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="cheers.gif" />
  8. That would be great Joe, I'll wait to hear form you later. Many Thanks.
  9. Already had a look, It only lists sizes and types not Vehicle models. Are they cone seat type? Sorry, was on the german site, Just looked at the USA one and it lists vehicle types. Thanks.
  10. Does anyone know the correct part number for the Mcgard bolts as Halfords list is wrong.
  11. Wow, I love this place, Thanks for all your replies. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Hi Joe, Mike, No I have'nt seen those, I'll have a look at them now. They sound great. Cheers LupoGTIboy for the original number. As usual much more helpfull than my local stealer.
  12. Hi there, Does anyone know the VW Part Number for a set of locking wheel bolts, for Bathursts on a lupo gti?
  13. See Here for engine pic http://www.vwvortex.com/artman/publish/printer_319.shtml
  14. 3L Engine style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="confused.gif" /> Various special-edition and test models have set records in fuel economy. The lightweight nature of the car and advanced 3-cylinder diesel engine have resulted in a production model (the Lupo 3L) that can consume as little as 3 litres per 100 kilometres (78 miles per US gallon or 94 miles per Imperial gallon). It was rumoured that it was this model that encouraged Renault to produced the Clio V6, since they assumed 3L stood for a 3-litre engine http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VW_Lupo
  15. Hey Silver, She's Re-listed those Alloys again.
