Thanks for that, both of you! Happily, I happen to be good friends with a VW general manager, and so thinking about it, I would probably be able to get a Lupo GTi at trade price. Gonna try that before I go looking at private ones.

OK, not posted much on here. Used to own a polo gti, which i loved! Sold it to buy a A3 1.8T, but felt it was too dated and lacked soul. Have just sold the A3 today and really fancy a Lupo GTI Can anyone give me a rough idea of things to look out for, how much should I be paying also? As most of you know, Craig Walsh (aka Walshc) was involved in an horrific car accident which has left him in a coma with severe injuries.
