I think you'd be pretty safe with that width and offset with a drop upto 60mm at least with no rubbing, you'll have to wait for others to see this post who have a similar et and width to be certain and on the safe side though.

I dont like it that much to be fair, (although I know the post isnt directed at me!) I think it's been too over done and too many genres of car styling have gone into it, with the euro keskins, but then you have the sparkle paint and the bumbers aint very subtle.. If it had smoothed bumpers on and maybe a single colour on the paint it would look sweet, BUT thats alot of work n you could say that about anything you didnt like!

I think they are RH cups, they are wide, probably 9inch on the rear and 8inch on the front. Would need careful consideration on the drop, offset and tyre choice if you wanted to run that width on a non gti.

I say if you can afford it, get it remapped anyway, i reckon remapped TDI's are right sleepers, people expect them to be piss slow, and when they arent they are gutted. Its worth doing just to see the looks on saxo/corsa/punto drivers faces!

You definatly have to drill holes, and you have to move a couple of things i think, but on my (now tigz's) OMP strut brace there was a bracket provided to fit everything back in place.

why? the discs last for ages, its the pads that wear down quickly
