I'm hopefully getting a better-paying job at work in the next few months, and what with my car's paintwork being dog-rough I've always wanted a respray but never thought I'd ever be able to afford it. The plan is save up til summer, or the end of it and get it done then, but I've heard mixed quotes? Been told £800ish by some people and £2000ish by others Anyone on here had a full spray job? As in, exterior, inside bonnet, interior metal etc.

I've done the trim on my dash, just make sure you use decent stickers. I did the dirty and used the book because I hated the finish on my trim so much but after a week or 2 it's looking pretty **** now. When I've got the time/money I'm either gonna re-do it with some better stickers or paint it. anyone know where to get decent stickers?

If you put an Arosa front on a Lupo you may as well have bought an Arosa and saved the money O.o Don't personally see why you'd wanna change it, Lupos are rare in the fact that they don't look crap with round lights unlike most others

Well I decided today it's not staying like it. Looks alright for now and it's better than the crappy finish on the trim but when I get the time/money I'll either paint it to match my wheels or get it vinyled or something

I swear I came across a thread on here where someone did that themself? Just heated it and seperated the unit?

I need to finish the painting by next week but every nearby Halfords is out of stock of the right purple because of me

Meh, it probably won't be permanent, I just got sick to death with the crappy finish on the blue trim, but for the meantime I love it I'll probably end up painting it to match my wheels at some point, but I reeeeally haven't got the time atm If I could get all the stickers sitting smooth I'd leave it and lacquer it because I love the effect, but I'll get a close up shot later, the finish is rough. What with them being paper-based stickers and not vinyl, they don't stretch and they crease instead, and in some spots you can see it quite well. Or I can anyway, but that might just be cause I know it's there

If the 7.5s at 30 will fit no problem lowered does that mean my 7's at 35 will? got told I may need to roll the arches a tad

Price isn't the point, the fact is it's been done over and over and over. So much has been done it's very hard to be original these days, and being on the very low budget I'm on I'm just going for whatever I think looks cool and being a fan of 2D illustration, I love stickers

People say it's some scene bandwagon thing, which I suppose is pretty true, but then so is any VAG with BBS's on or something. I just think it looks cool, bit rough up close but when I get some more stickers that aren't so over-used I'll make sure it's a smoother job And where can I get UV laquer? More concerned about my filler cap for now

I did it because I didn't want to repaint it all, it was a pretty rough finish on all the plastics and looked mroe effort than it was worth. And I prefer all the bright colours to the blue anyway

they're Twist reps according to my mate who spotted them For £50 I couldn't say no

I was considering it but in all honesty I probably wouldn't look after them well enough ;/
