No doesn't lock if i use the key in the door. And i'm not sure what a vagcom is?

Hi, For some time now i have been unable to lock my lupo either manually or via central locking. I lost my keys a few months back and am currently using my spare set - As no one seems to have an answer to my last post - i was wondering whether it would be easier just to replace the system? Any thoughts welcome!

I couldn't find a section on 'how to' to help with this so any suggestions still welcome!

Does anyone know how to reprogramme it? - It doesn't even work the 'ol'fashioned' way! If anyone has any advice, i'd be most grateful!

I've lost my main car key and have to now use my spare. The central locking isn't working at all and i can't lock the car manually. Is there something i need to do to make it work? i've tried changing the key battery but this doesn't solve the problem. Can anyone help me? Thanks, T

Hay thanks for that, i'll have a look and let you know how i get on. The battery is fine, and i've changed the alternator for the second time in 6 months, i'm going to give the starter motor a knock to see if it's sticking, failing that i'll have to get a mechanic to look at it for me. Fingers crossed it's not too serious :-( T

My Gti broke down yesterday after putting petrol in it just wouldn't turn over (and no, diesel wasn't put in by mistalke. lol. I managed to bump it and get it home. I've tried starting it today with no luck it's still not turning over but i can hear a buzzing noise and a click from the front .. I have a feeling the starter motor is sticking. Anyone know what this is? I've also considered it being the mobiliser.. Also, can someone please tell me where i can locate the starter motor? Thanks in advance ;-) T

Hi guys, Again i require a new front grille, bage and plinth! Anyone selling second hand? My car spat them off as i was driving on a dual caridge way and i was forced to run over them and break into pieces! Any help would be great xx

Thought i'd give you an update on this, as i managed to do some of this over the weekend. I took the door cards off and found out that the previous owner had done the same and snapped my driver handle (to pull the door closed from the inside) and now i am -1 handle . Anyway, i stripped them of the grubby red material. I must admit that this isn't a job for the impatient! With the adhesive evostick, i covered the card, then waited... then attempted to smooth over the new black fabric, but this was so hard to work with there were lumps, bumps and imperfections left right and centre. So... i gave up. I am hoping to get them upholstered by a friend of a friend. If that fails, i'm getting new material, and will upload pics when eventally done Watch this space...........

Are the front door handles still going?

Do you still have your interior door handle/rails? .....

I was wondering if anyone knows where i would be able to get a passanger door handle (not the pull to open the door but the handle to pull the door shut when inside. I've been to my scrappy but no joy, looked on ebay, no joy! I would appreciate any help. Thanks

Hello! I'm looking to refresh my lupo interior. The upper door cards are a tad faded and grubby looking but i'm not sure how i can change/re-trim these. I currently have red upper door cards but would like them black or fresh red.. Any ideas? Also a guide on how to take them off would be useful. Thanks in advance Teila

Hh Haha, if i had a decent phone to take a pic i would .. luckily the damage isn't so bad though. i will try getting pics up anyway!
