  11. Get car lifted up at front, ramps/axle stands take lower bumper off for better access. Remove the belt... Spanner on the tensioner and move it as if to tighten the bolt (righty tighty) Be sure spanner won't slip else you might get sore fingers. Belt off remove two bolts I think 13mm holding the alternator in place and 17mm for tensioner. Knock it out with soft mallet or similar Refit in reverse
  12. I'm doing mine to a very small budget, doing rings, big end bearing shells for the internal, then the rest is just gaskets, bolts and service parts, belts and gaskets etc. This is first time i've done this so probably not the best for info Try Lupoboz on here in the 'genuine traders' Section he does great prices. Would imagine save a fortune over halfords!

  18. I've just had old bike break cable wrapped round and self tapped to the wheel well. Done this to friends sport and noticed nines missing heat shield... Just don't bolt it to heat shield and will stay Neat for ever:)

  20. Is it going in situations when the fan would operate? Does just sound like a dodgey fan but I don't understand why the would stop engine operation unless dome failsafe to stop engine overheating??? I 'unno
  21. Just be because it's that far down and constantly sat on the bump stops. If by wound all the way down you actually mean bottom of the threads then chances are the springs not even in contact with upper support? Will be able to wind the adjusters up a good inch and it wont make a difference to the ride height Just what I've experienced so might not be correct in your case
